Cratloe GAA
Cratloe GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the village of Cratloe, County Clare, Ireland. The club deals with both Gaelic football and hurling and basketball. The club competes in Clare GAA competitions. In November 2013, Cratloe won their first ever Clare Senior Football Championship title, defeating Doonbeg by 0-10 to 0-7. They reached the 2013 Munster Senior Club Football Championship final on 1 December, but were defeated 0-13 to 0-12 by Dr Crokes. In 2014, Cratloe won the Clare Senior Hurling championship on 5th October and the Clare Senior Football Championship seven days later. This was the first time that a Clare club had lifted both senior club trophies on the field of play since Ennis Dalcassians completed '' 'The Double' ''in 1929. The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA; ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael ; CLG) is an Irish international amateur sporting and cultural organisation, focused primarily on promoting indigenous Gaelic games and pastimes, which include the traditional Irish sports of hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, Gaelic handball and rounders. Billy Sheehan (Gaelic Footballer)
Billy Sheehan (born 18 December 1981) is a Gaelic football manager and former player. He lined out with two county teams: Kerry and Laois. He was manager of the Laois county team from 2021 until 2023. Schools During his secondary school days in Tralee CBS he won a Frewen Cup title. Club He began his career with the Austin Stacks club in Tralee. He lined out in the 2001 Kerry Senior Football Championship loss to An Ghaeltacht. He would go on to win a Kerry Club Football Championship in 2003 with the Tralee side. While a UCD student, Billy transferred to the Emo club in Laois in 2004. John Galvin (Gaelic Footballer)
John Galvin is a former Gaelic footballer who played as a midfielder for Limerick GAA, Limerick in a career spanning 15 years from 1999 to 2014. He played his club football with Croom GAA, Croom before transferring to Cratloe GAA, Cratloe in Clare where he had been living for some years. Cathal McInerney
Cathal McInerney is an Irish sportsperson. He was born in 1991. He plays hurling with his local club Cratloe and was a member of the Clare senior inter-county team from 2011 until 2020. Conor McGrath
Conor McGrath (born 29 May 1991) is an Irish hurler who plays as a left corner-forward for the Clare senior team. Born in Ennis, County Clare, McGrath was introduced to hurling by his father, a Toomevara native who was heavily involved in hurling coaching. He developed his skills in the Harty Cup with St. Caimin's Community School, while simultaneously becoming involved at underage levels with the Cratloe club. A dual player at the highest level, McGrath has won two championship medals each in both hurling and Gaelic football. McGrath made his debut on the inter-county scene when he first linked up with the Clare minor team. After little success in this grade, he later won two All-Ireland medals with the under-21 team. Conor Ryan (hurler)
Conor Ryan is an Irish people, Irish former hurling, hurler who played at midfield for the Clare GAA, Clare senior team. At club level Ryan played with Cratloe GAA, Cratloe. He is the older brother of Clare hurler Diarmuid Ryan. Colm Collins
Colm Collins is a Gaelic football manager, associated with Cratloe GAA club. Career Collins is a native of Kilmihil. He began managing Clare in late 2013 and became the longest-serving inter-county football manager when Mickey Harte left Tyrone. Collins led Clare from Division 4 to Division 3 of the National Football League, then to Division 2 where he consolidated his team's position. Podge Collins
Pádraic "Podge" Collins (born 14 January 1992) is an Irish Gaelic footballer and hurler who plays as a right wing-forward for the Clare senior team. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of eighteen when he first linked up with the Clare minor team, before later lining out with the under-21 side.
