Craig Point
Craig Point (born January 19, 1986), is an Iroquois lacrosse player who currently plays for the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League and the Six Nations Chiefs of Major Series Lacrosse. He was born in Ohsweken, Ontario, and comes from the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation. Amateur career Point led the Six Nations Arrows of the OLA Junior A Lacrosse League to four straight league championships and a Minto Cup national championship in 2007. He also played on the Iroquois Nationals team in the 2015 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship, leading the team in scoring and earning a silver medal. In 2006, Point led Onondaga Community College to an undefeated season and a NJCAA National Championship. Rochester Knighthawks
The Rochester Knighthawks (also known as the K-Hawks) are a professional box lacrosse team in the North Division of the National Lacrosse League. They play in Rochester, New York at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial. The Knighthawks are owned by Pegula Sports and Entertainment who purchased the intellectual property of the team from former owner Curt Styres who moved the previous version of the team to Halifax, Nova Scotia as the Halifax Thunderbirds at the end of the 2018–2019 season. As an expansion team they are not a continuation of the previous Knighthawks. All records and championships followed the original franchise to Halifax. Onondaga Community College (OCC) is a public community college that serves Onondaga County, New York, at two campuses. It is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. History The college was founded in 1961 and began instruction in September 1962 in the rehabilitated L.C. Smith factory (the now demolished ''Midtown Plaza'') in downtown Syracuse. Ryan Benesch
Ryan Benesch (born January 30, 1985) is a Canadian professional lacrosse player who plays for the Albany FireWolves in the National Lacrosse League. Benesch has also played for the Halifax Thunderbirds, Colorado Mammoth, Buffalo Bandits, Minnesota Swarm, Edmonton Rush, Toronto Rock, and Panther City LC and was the 2011 NLL scoring leader. Benesch was born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Professional career Benesch was drafted first overall by the San Jose Stealth in the 2006 NLL entry draft, but was traded to Toronto Rock along with Chad Thompson and Kevin Fines for 2005 NLL MVP Colin Doyle. Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League
The Ontario Junior Lacrosse League (OJLL) is considered the most competitive Junior A men's box lacrosse league in the world and the number one source for talent for the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The OJLL is sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association. It is an 11 team league wherein the top 8 go to the playoffs and battle it out for top spot in Ontario. Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League
The Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League (OJBLL) is a box lacrosse league sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association in Canada. The league features twenty-five teams in Ontario, one in Quebec, and one in the Akwesasne (which straddles the two aforementioned provinces and New York) that annually play a 20-game schedule and four rounds of playoffs for the J.
