Craig Johnson (ice Hockey B. 1972)
Craig Thomas Johnson (born March 18, 1972), is an American former professional ice hockey player who played ten seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 33rd overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft and went on to play 563 games in the NHL. Internationally Johnson played for the American national team in several World Championships and the 1994 Winter Olympics. He is currently working in the player development department for the Kings. Career Johnson made his NHL debut during the 1994–95 season with St. Louis. He scored the first goal at the Kiel Center when it opened in 1995. On February 27, 1996, Johnson was traded with Patrice Tardif, Roman Vopat, and two draft picks to the Los Angeles Kings for Wayne Gretzky. Los Angeles Kings
The Los Angeles Kings are a professional ice hockey team based in Los Angeles. The team competes in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference and was founded on June 5, 1967, after Jack Kent Cooke was awarded an NHL expansion franchise for Los Angeles on February 9, 1966, becoming one of the six teams that began play as part of the 1967 NHL expansion. Enterprise Center
The Enterprise Center is an 18,096-seat arena located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Its primary tenant is the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League, but it is also used for other functions, such as NCAA basketball, NCAA hockey, concerts, professional wrestling and more. In a typical year, the facility hosts about 175 events. 2019 NHL Entry Draft
The 2019 NHL Entry Draft was the 57th NHL Entry Draft. The draft was held on June 21–22, 2019 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. The first three selections were Jack Hughes going to the New Jersey Devils, Kaapo Kakko being selected by the New York Rangers, and Kirby Dach being picked by the Chicago Blackhawks. The Buffalo Sabres are a professional ice hockey team based in Buffalo, New York. Ryan Johnson (born July 24, 2001) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman with the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted in the first round, 31st overall, by the Sabres in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Johnson played with the Sioux Falls Stampede in the United States Hockey League (USHL) before he was drafted 31st overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the first round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. He committed to a collegiate career with the University of Minnesota in the Big Ten Conference (B1G). Ontario Reign (ECHL)
The Ontario Reign were a professional ice hockey team from Ontario, California that played in the ECHL. Their home arena was the Citizens Business Bank Arena. They were affiliated with two National Hockey League teams: the Los Angeles Kings were the team's primary affiliate, and the Winnipeg Jets were the secondary affiliate.
