Cox Green, Berkshire
Cox Green is a civil parish in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in Berkshire. It is a large suburb of Maidenhead with most of its housing west of the A404(M) Maidenhead bypass and south of the A4 road. The remainder of this area is rural. The parish has an urban boundary with Woodlands Park to the southwest and a rural boundary with White Waltham parish to the west. History The original village was ecclesiastically a hamlet under Bray church that had a nucleus by Cox Green Lane, Cox Green Road and Norden Road, south of the railway ( see map of 1945 here). Parts of this are now outside the current parish boundary. The second half of the 20th century saw a rapid expansion of housing, including Woodlands Park to the west, and Cox Green is now part of the wider urban area of Maidenhead. Cox Green School
Cox Green School is a secondary school with academy status in Berkshire, England. History Cox Green School was founded in 1967, and in 1973 was part of a reorganisation of education in Maidenhead. Cox Green School is an 11-18 comprehensive. The school became an Academy on 1 December 2011. Facts The school currently holds Sportsmark Sportsmark is Sport England's accreditation scheme for secondary schools. The scheme recognises a school's out of hours sports provision.

Cox Green is a village in the Sunderland district, Tyne and Wear, England, situated on the south bank of the River Wear between Penshaw and Offerton. The village is linked to Washington Staithes on the north bank of the river, by the Cox Green Footbridge. It is primarily a residential village.
