	Cowboy Hill (American Football) Harry Franklin "Cowboy" Hill (March 30, 1899 – February 3, 1966) was an American football Running back, tailback who played four seasons with the Toledo Maroons, Kansas City Blues/Cowboys and New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Oklahoma and attended Chickasha High School in Chickasha, Oklahoma. 	Pittsburg, Oklahoma Pittsburg is a town in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 280 at the 2000 census. History The first settlement of present day Pittsburg by non-indigenous peoples was in 1899 when Daniel Edwards, accompanied by son Thomas, placed a coal shaft two miles east of Kiowa, in Choctaw Nation. In 1903, the United States Postal Service established a post office in Cowpers and appointed Daniel Edwards as postmaster.
