is the first cover album and second mini-album released by Japanese soloist misono. The album's title is a play on , the Japanese word for hippopotamus. It charted on Oricon at No. 28 and remained on the charts for four weeks. The album was released on the same day as her fourteenth single, '' Urusei Yatsura no Theme: Lum no Love Song/Me''. The album was released solely as a CD, although a music video for the first song, "misono to Utaou! Animedley I", was placed on the aforementioned single. For the album, misono covered a variety of songs from other artists, including Avril Lavinge's " Complicated", Mayo Okamoto's "Tomorrow" and Personz's "Dear Friends". Misono
, publicly known mononymously as Misono (stylized as misono), is a Japanese singer-songwriter and TV personality. She was born in Kyoto, Japan, and is the younger sister of singer Koda Kumi. Career In 2000, Misono participated in the summer vacation audition organized by Japanese label Avex, and was subsequently chosen by the label to become one of their artists. In 2002, she debuted as the vocalist of Day After Tomorrow (dat), a J-pop band formed by the Avex Trax label under the production of Mitsuru Igarashi. Early life Yū Aku was born as Hiroyuki Fukada (深田公之, Fukada Hiroyuki) in Awaji Island, Hyogo, Japan. His parents both originated from the town of Kawaminami in Miyazaki Prefecture, Kyūshū, Japan. is the 22nd single by Japanese idol Momoe Yamaguchi. Written by Yoko Aki and Ryudo Uzaki, the single was released on May 1, 1978, by CBS Sony. Background The title "Playback" was suggested by Yamaguchi's management, who requested Aki and Uzaki to compose the song and Kōji Makaino to arrange it. When the first version was rejected, Aki and Uzaki worked overnight to revise the song and gave the new version to arranger Mitsuo Hagita; hence the song being titled "Playback Part 2".
