Coventry United Football Club is an English association football club based in Coventry in the West Midlands. The team competes in the , the 9th tier of English football and are managed by Carl Nolan The club was founded in 2013 by chairman Jason Kay along with three co-chairmen Jason Timms, Marcus Green and Pete Schofield and Club secretary Graham Wood following a takeover of Coventry Spartans in reaction to Coventry City moving from the Ricoh Arena to Northampton to play at Sixfields Stadium. Edwin Greaves had been in charge at the club since its formation until Spring 2016, when he was replaced by current manager Terry Anderson. Butts Park Arena
Butts Park Arena is a multi-use sports stadium in Spon End, Coventry, England. Its main use is as a Rugby football, rugby stadium (both rugby union, union and rugby league, league). It is the home ground for Coventry R.F.C. (since its opening) and was the home of Midlands Hurricanes (who moved there for the start of the 2004–05 season as Coventry Bears). It was also formerly the home ground of the Coventry Jets, an American football team. FA Women's Premier League
The FA Women's National League, formerly WFA National League and FA Women's Premier League (WPL), is a group of six football divisions run by the English Football Association. Founded in 1991 by the Women's Football Association, the League included England's top division from 1991 to 2010. The 2017–18 FA Cup (also known as the FA Challenge Cup) was the 137th edition of the oldest recognised football tournament in the world. Craig Reid (footballer, Born 1985)
Craig Kevin Reid (born 17 December 1985) is an English footballer who plays as a striker. Reid started his career at Coventry City's youth academy in 2000, spending two years at the club before opting to join Ipswich Town in 2002. He spent two years at Ipswich, and then returned to Coventry, under a professional contract, in 2004. During his time at Coventry, Reid spent a month on loan at Conference National club Tamworth in March 2006. He was released by Coventry at the end of the 2005–06 season having not made a first-team appearance for his hometown club. In January 2007, Reid signed for Cheltenham Town and spent a year-and-a-half there before being released by the club in May 2008. Reid signed for Conference Premier club Grays Athletic on a short-term deal in August 2008, before being loaned out to Newport County. Reid joined Newport on a permanent basis. Shaquille Alphonso McDonald (born 19 July 1995) is an English footballer who plays for side Mickleover, where he plays as a forward. Playing career Early career Born in Birmingham, West Midlands, McDonald was with Birmingham City's youth system from 2011 to 2012. He joined Chasetown's scholarship scheme in July 2012, before joining Championship club Peterborough United five months later after impressing on trial. Midland Football Combination
The Midland Football Combination was an English football league covering parts of the West Midlands. It comprised five divisions, a Premier Division, Divisions One and Two and two Reserves Divisions. The league was one of three official feeder leagues to the Midland Football Alliance. Prior to 2006, the Premier Division was defined as step 7 in the National League System, even though it fed into the step 5 Midland Alliance. In 2006, it was re-graded as step 6, making teams in the top two divisions eligible to take part in the FA Vase and teams in the top division eligible to enter the FA Cup.
