Coupe Dodge
The Quebec Provincial Hockey Championship (French: ''Championnats Provinciaux de Hockey'', known as Coupe Dodge, or the Dodge Cup for commercial reasons) is a provincial championship in the men's and women's amateur ice hockey leagues in Quebec, Canada. This tournament is sanctioned by both Fédération québécoise de hockey sur glace (Hockey Quebec) and Hockey Canada. History The first provincial championships organized by Hockey Quebec were presented at Montreal in 1978. The name of the trophy has changed over the years because of sponsorship: Daoust (1978-85), Purlator (1986-88), Chrysler (1989-2002), and since 2003, the Dodge brand. This tournament that determines the top double letter teams ("AA" ) at each level for boys and girls (U7, U9. U11, U13, U15, U18, U21) within the province of Quebec. Ice hockey (or simply hockey) is a team sport played on ice skates, usually on an ice skating rink with lines and markings specific to the sport. It belongs to a family of sports called hockey. Eastern Ontario Junior B Hockey League
The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is a Junior ice hockey league operating in Eastern Ontario, Canada. The league is sanctioned by Hockey Eastern Ontario and Hockey Canada and acts as a second tier to the Central Canada Hockey League. The 16 member teams of the league compete for the Barkley Cup. Dating back to the 1960s, the league was known until 2015 as the Eastern Ontario Junior B Hockey League. The League was known from 2015 to 2020 as the Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2. History The EOJHL was founded in 1966 as the Rideau-St. Lawrence Junior "B" Hockey League. Carleton-sur-Mer is the fifth largest town of the Gaspésie's south shore, in southeastern Quebec, Canada, located on Route 132, along Chaleur Bay. Lachute () is a town in southwest Quebec, Canada, northwest of Montreal, on the Rivière du Nord, a tributary of the Ottawa River, and west of Mirabel International Airport. Plessisville, Quebec is a county seat of L'Érable Regional County Municipality, Quebec, Canada. Routes 116 and 165 go through it. The city is 185 km from Montreal and 95 km from Quebec City.
