County Road 708 (Martin County, Florida)
Martin County, Florida (located in South-East Florida), operates a system of county roads that serve all portions of the county. The Martin County Roadway Design & Construction Division is responsible for maintaining all of the Martin County roads. The numbers and routes of all Florida highways are assigned by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), while county road numbers are assigned by the counties, with guidance from FDOT. North-south routes are generally assigned odd numbers, while east-west routes are generally assigned even numbers. Florida's Turnpike, designated as unsigned State Road 91 (SR 91), is a toll road in the U.S. state of Florida, maintained by Florida's Turnpike Enterprise (FTE). Spanning approximately along a northwest–southeast axis, the turnpike is in two sections. State Road 708 (SR 708) is a , east–west thoroughfare in Riviera Beach locally known as Blue Heron Boulevard. The road extends from an intersection with Bee-Line Highway ( State Road 710) to an intersection with Broadway (U.S. Route 1 (US 1). The entire road was formerly designated State Road 707 (SR 707) and has been gradually transferred to county jurisdiction. In St. Lucie County, CR 707 is part of the Indian River Lagoon – Treasure Coast Scenic Highway, a Florida Scenic Highway. Route description CR 707 exists in two sections.
