Country Of Living
Country of Living ( hy, Ապրելու երկիր կուսակցության, translit=Aprelu yerkir kusakts’ut’yan), also known as Country to Live, Living Country or Land of Living, is an Armenian political party. It was founded in 2021 and is currently led by Mane Tandilyan. History The party held its founding congress on 15 August 2021, the founders of the party are Mesrop Arakelyan and Mane Tandilyan. Mane Tandilyan, a previous member of Bright Armenia, was unanimously elected Chairwoman. Meanwhile, Mesrop Arakelyan of the Mission Party announced that he was merging the Mission Party with the Country of Living party. Tandilyan and Arakelyan both formerly served as Minister of Labor and Social Affairs under Nikol Pashinyan. The party does not have any representation in the National Assembly and currently acts as an extra-parliamentary force. Mane Tandilyan
Mane Tandilyan ( hy, Մանե Թանդիլյան; born 3 April 1978), is an Armenian historian and politician, Member of the National Assembly of Armenia and former Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Republic since 12 May 2018 until she resigned on 14 November 2018. Biography Born in the northern town of Alaverdi, she graduated in History in the Armenian State Pedagogical University in 1999. Three years later graduated in Business in the American University of Armenia and got a master's degree in Business Administration. In 2005 she founded and led the Armenian Council of the International European Movement. She is married with two children. Political career Since 15 December 2015 is member of the party Bright Armenia and on 22 December 2017 became Secretary of the party's Council. Dilijan
Dilijan ( hy, Դիլիջան) is a spa town and urban municipal community in the Tavush Province of Armenia. The town is one of the most important resorts in Armenia, situated within the Dilijan National Park. The forested town is home to numerous Armenian artists, composers, and filmmakers and features some traditional Armenian architecture. The town is often referred to as the ''Armenian Switzerland'' or ''Little Switzerland'' by the locals. Sharambeyan Street in the city centre, has been preserved and maintained as the heart of Dilijan's old town, complete with craftsman's workshops, a gallery and a museum. Armenian Diaspora
The Armenian diaspora refers to the communities of Armenians outside Armenia and other locations where Armenians are considered an indigenous population. Since antiquity, Armenians have established communities in many regions throughout the world. However, the modern Armenian diaspora was largely formed as a result of World War I, when the Armenian genocide committed by the Ottoman Empire forced Armenians living in their homeland to flee or risk being killed. The Shant Alliance Nationalist Party, also known as the Shant Alliance ( hy, Շանթ դաշինք ազգայնական կուսակցություն) is an Armenian political party. History The Shant Alliance Nationalist Party was founded in 2021 by Shahen Harutyunyan, the son of Shant Harutyunyan, a Soviet-era political dissident. The party participated in municipal elections in November 2021. The party decided to run only in certain communities within the Syunik Province. Gyumri
Gyumri ( hy, Գյումրի, ) is an urban municipal community and the second-largest city in Armenia, serving as the administrative center of Shirak Province in the northwestern part of the country. Meghri
Meghri ( hy, Մեղրի) is a town and the center of the urban community of Meghri, in Syunik Province in southern Armenia, near the border with Iran. As of the 2011 census, the population of the town was 4,580. According to the 2020 official estimate, Meghri's population is around 4,500. Tegh
Tegh ( hy, Տեղ) is a village and the center of the Tegh Municipality of the Syunik Province in Armenia. Tegh is the last village on the Goris-Stepanakert Highway before passing the border with the Republic of Artsakh. Of significance in the village, are the dozens of visible caves present near Tegh. The village is underlaid by a soft stone layer of porous rock, replete with rows of caves that were once used for human habitation, now largely used for animals. There are also some very large ones facing highway M12. Rows of them are visible from the highway while driving east.
