''Controsesso'', internationally released as ''Countersex'', is a 1964 Italian anthology comedy film directed by Franco Rossi, Marco Ferreri and Renato Castellani. All the episodes have sex as main theme. The episode of Ferreri is considered by several critics as the masterpiece of the first Italian period of the director. Renzo Marignano
Renzo Marignano (26 March 1923 - 25 November 1987), sometimes credited as Renzo Marignani, was an Italian actor and film director. Born in Genoa, after World War II Marignano was one of the founders of ''Cimofilm'', a production company specialized in documentaries, some of which he also directed. In 1958 he moved to Rome where he started a career as character actor, appearing in a large number of films. He also was assistant director for several films by Pietro Germi and Mario Monicelli. Anna Maria Ferrero
Anna Maria Ferrero (18 February 1935 – 21 May 2018) was an Italian actress. Early life and career Born Anna Maria Guerra, she changed her last name to Ferrero in honor of the composer :it:Willy Ferrero, Willy Ferrero. Her film debut came at the age of 15 in ''Il cielo è rosso'' (1950), and she was soon cast in such films as ''Il duca di Sant'Elmo'' (1950) and ''Il Cristo proibito'' (1951), the only movie directed by the noted writer Curzio Malaparte. Umberto D'Orsi
Umberto D'Orsi (30 July 1929 – 31 August 1976) was an Italian character actor and comedian. Born in Trieste, D'Orsi took a degree in law in 1953, but he was already active in theater from 1950, performing in small companies of prose and revue. From 1962 till his death, D'Orsi was a prolific supporting actor, appearing in as many as fifteen films a year. He died in Rome at 47 from kidney failure. Ennio Guarnieri
Ennio Guarnieri (12 October 1930 – 1 July 2019) was an Italian cinematographer. He was a frequent contributor to the films of Mauro Bolognini and Franco Zeffirelli, and worked on many occasions with Vittorio De Sica, Marco Ferreri and Lina Wertmüller. Early life Born in Rome, Guarnieri abandoned his studies and worked as an assistant cinematographer to Anchise Brizzi from 1949 to 1956. He debuted as director of photography in 1962 with ''I giorni contati'' by Elio Petri. In the late sixties, for his ability to portray actresses, Guarnieri became a trusted cinematographer for stars such as Virna Lisi, Sylva Koscina and Tina Aumont, for which he made extensive use of soft focus, backlight and scrims. Leonida Barboni (23 November 1909 – 6 November 1970) was an Italian film cinematographer. Renato Castellani (4 September 1913 in Varigotti, Liguria – 28 December 1985 in Rome) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. Early life Son of a representative of Kodak, he was born in Varigotti, a hamlet at the time of Final Pia, which became Finale Ligure (Savona) in 1927, where his mother had returned from Argentina to give birth to his son. He spent his childhood in Argentina, in the city of Rosario. After 12 years, he returned to Liguria and resumed his studies in Genoa. He moved to Milan, where he graduated from the Polytechnic University in architecture. Saturnino "Nino" Manfredi (22 March 1921 – 4 June 2004) was an Italian actor, voice actor, director, screenwriter, playwright, comedian, singer, author, radio personality and television presenter.
