''24'' is an American action drama television series created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran (TV producer), Robert Cochran for Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox. The series stars Kiefer Sutherland as counter-terrorism, counter-terrorist agent Jack Bauer. Each season covers Nychthemeron, 24 consecutive hours in Bauer's life using the real time (media), real time method of narration. Multiple interrelated plots are featured in each episode, which often include Bauer's contacts in perilous crisis. Tony Krantz
Tony Krantz (born June 16, 1959) is an American film and television producer, writer, and director. Krantz started his career in the American entertainment industry as an agent, spending 15 years at Creative Artists Agency (CAA). He started there as a mailroom trainee and rose to eventually run the primetime television department, where he personally packaged the television series '' ER'', ''Twin Peaks,'' ''Beverly Hills, 90210'', ''Melrose Place'' and ''The West Wing'', among many others. He also put together the movies ''The Doors'' and '' Wild at Heart''.
