Count Vertigo
Count Vertigo is a supervillain created by Gerry Conway, Trevor Von Eeden and Vince Colletta as an enemy of Black Canary and later Green Arrow in the DC Comics DC Universe, Universe. Count Vertigo is the last descendant of the royal family that ruled the small eastern European country of Vlatava that was taken over by the Soviet Union, Soviets and later became devastated by the Spectre (DC Comics character), Spectre. Two incarnations of Count Vertigo, Cecil Adams and Werner Zytle, appeared as guest characters in ''Arrow (TV series), Arrow'', portrayed by Seth Gabel and Peter Stormare respectively. Spectre (DC Comics Character)
The Spectre is the name given to several fictional antiheroes who have appeared in numerous comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in ''More Fun Comics'' #52 (February 1940). He was created by Jerry Siegel and Bernard Baily, although several sources attribute creator credit solely to Siegel, limiting Baily to being merely the artist assigned to the feature. Publication history Golden Age version The Spectre debuted in ''More Fun Comics'' #52 (February 1940) when hard-boiled cop Jim Corrigan, on his way with his fiancée Clarice to their engagement party, is murdered by thugs who stuff him into a barrel filled with cement and then throw it into a body of water. ''War of the Gods'' was an American four-issue comic book mini-series published by DC Comics in 1991. Primarily centered on the character Wonder Woman, this storyline was intended to celebrate the character's 50th anniversary. Deadshot
Deadshot (Floyd Lawton) is a supervillain and antihero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by David Vern Reed, Lew Schwartz and Bob Kane, the character made his first appearance in ''Batman'' #59 (June–July 1950). The character was modernized with the popular look he is now known for in ''Detective Comics'' #474 by Steve Englehart, Marshall Rogers and Terry Austin. He is an excellent sniper who regularly boasts of never missing a shot, and is often considered one of the deadliest assassins in the DC Universe. Deadshot is primarily an adversary of the superhero Batman and belongs to the collection of enemies that make up his rogues gallery, though he has also come into conflict with other heroes, such as Green Arrow.
