''Couleurs sur Paris'' is the fourth album by the French covers band Nouvelle Vague, released 16 November 2010. The album is the group's first to be sung mostly in French, consisting largely of covers of French new wave and post-punk Post-punk (originally called new musick) is a broad genre of punk music that emerged in the late 1970s as musicians departed from punk's traditional elements and raw simplicity, instead adopting a variety of avant-garde sensibilities and non-roc ... songs from the 1970s and 1980s. The album attracted mixed reviews in the French-speaking press. Release The album peaked at number 52 in the French album charts, spending a total of 9 weeks in the top 200. Yelle
Yelle is a French band founded by lead singer and namesake Yelle (Julie Budet) and GrandMarnier (Jean-François Perrier). A third member, Tepr (Tanguy Destable), joined the band before the recording of their debut album. Yelle and GrandMarnier began working on music together in 2000. Julien Doré (; born 7 July 1982) is a French singer-songwriter, musician and actor. He is the winner of the fifth season of the television show ''Nouvelle Star'', aired on the French Television M6 channel. Les Rita Mitsouko (, translation: ''The Rita Mitsukos'') were a French pop rock group formed by Fred Chichin and Catherine Ringer. The duo first performed as Rita Mitsouko at Gibus Club in Paris in 1980. They went on to become one of the most acclaimed musical acts in France.
