Cottage Industry (EP)
''Cottage Industry'' () is the first EP album by South Korean duo M&D, released by SM Entertainment and distributed KT Music on April 20, 2015. It is their only release as M&D before changing their name. Background and release On March 17 a few reports have come out to reveal that SM Entertainment mentioned that M&D's releasing their first EP album ''Cottage Industry'' on April 20 with "I Wish" as its lead track. Along with the already announced featuring of GFriend's Yerin, there were a number of other celebrities who made an appearances in it, such as Lee Jin Ho, Cho Jae Geol, Gun Hee, and Jang Dong-min. This is the project duo's comeback after a 3-year and 10-month hiatus following the release of the single "Close Ur Mouth". The release is an EP album with six tracks written by Heechul and composed by Jungmo. Dance Music
Dance music is music composed specifically to facilitate or accompany dancing. It can be either a whole musical piece or part of a larger musical arrangement. In terms of performance, the major categories are live dance music and recorded dance music. Yerin (singer)
Jung Ye-rin (; born August 19, 1996), known mononymously as Yerin (), is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a former member of the South Korean girl group GFriend. Early life Yerin was born on August 19, 1996, in Incheon. She attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul and graduated in 2015. Career 2015–2021: Activities with GFriend In January 2015, Yerin officially debuted as a member of GFriend with their first extended play, '' Season of Glass''. Gaon Music Chart
The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Founded in 2010. History Gaon Chart was launched in February 2010 by the Korea Music Content Association, under the sponsorship of the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the aim to create a domestic national chart similar to the ''Billboard'' charts of the United States and the Oricon charts of Japan. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. It compiles shipments in weekly, monthly and year-end format with detailed album sales. History The Gaon Album Chart was launched as a part of the Gaon Chart in February 2010 by Korea Music Content Association and South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Kim Hee-chul
Kim Hee-chul (; born July 10, 1983), better known mononymously as Heechul, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, presenter and actor. He is a member of the South Korean boy band Super Junior and has further participated in its subgroup Super Junior-T as well as project group Universe Cowards with Min Kyung-hoon and Woojoo jjokkomi with Lee Soo-geun. He was also a member of the disbanded pop rock duo Kim Heechul & Kim Jungmo. Prior to his debut in Super Junior, Heechul began his acting career in 2005, starring in the second season of teen drama ''Sharp 2''. This led him to host radio shows, his first music show ' and appear on advertisements. ''Music Bank'' (; RR: ''Myujikbaengkeu'') is a South Korean music program which airs every Friday at 17:00 KST on KBS2. As of 2015, the show is also broadcast in more than a hundred countries through KBS World. Episodes are filmed at the KBS New Wing Open Hall in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu. The show also organizes the global live concert ''Music Bank World Tour''. Jang Dong-min (; born July 20, 1979), is a South Korean comedian. He is known as ‘comedian who curses a lot’, (his comedy style is mainly on yelling and cursing). He is part of Gag Concert's 19th class (class of 2004), together with Yoo Se-yoon and Yoo Sang-moo. He is part of 옹달샘 (''Ongdalsaem)'' a trio with them. GFriend
GFriend (stylized in all caps; ) was a South Korean girl group formed by Source Music in 2015. The group consisted of six members: Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji. They debuted with the extended play (EP) '' Season of Glass'' on January 15, 2015 and won several female rookie awards, garnering momentum early on despite being from a small company. GFriend continued their commercial success the next year with their third EP, ''Snowflake'', whose lead single " Rough" won first place on numerous music shows. Ballad
A ballad is a form of verse, often a narrative set to music. Ballads derive from the medieval French ''chanson balladée'' or ''ballade'', which were originally "dance songs". Ballads were particularly characteristic of the popular poetry and song of Britain and Ireland from the Late Middle Ages until the 19th century.
