Brandin Cote
Brandin Cote (born April 21, 1981) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey centre who last played for the Fischtown Pinguins in the German 2nd Bundesliga in 2008–09. In 2002, Cote signed with the Chicago Blackhawks as a free agent. He played three seasons for Norfolk then moved to England to play for the Nottingham Panthers. He returned for one more season with Norfolk, then played for the Texas Wildcatters. He returned to Europe for two seasons before retiring in 2009. Cote was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. He played junior for the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League. Following his pro career, Cote played one season of senior hockey with the Bentley Generals of the Chinook Hockey League. In September 2012, he was named as the head coach of the Generals and led them to an Allan Cup championship in his first season behind the bench. Denise Louise Cote (born October 13, 1946) is a Senior United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Early life and education Cote was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary's College in 1968 and a Master of Arts in history from Columbia University in 1969, after which she taught U.S. history, world history, and African-American history at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a school in Manhattan. Cote then attended Columbia Law School, where she was Notes & Comments Editor of the Columbia Law Review, and she received her Juris Doctor in 1975. Michael Richard Côté (born June 19, 1949) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church, serving as the bishop of the Diocese of Norwich in Connecticut and parts of New York since 2003. He previously served as auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Portland in Maine from 1995 to 2003 Biography Early life Michael Côté was born on June 19, 1949, in Sanford, Maine. He first attended Our Lady of Lourdes Seminary in Cassadaga, New York, then went to Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. Côté later graduated from St. Mary's Seminary College in Baltimore, Maryland with a Bachelor of Philosophy degree. He then went to Rome to study at the Pontifical Gregorian University, receiving a Master of Theology degree in 1975. Ray Cote (born May 31, 1961) is a former professional ice hockey forward. He spent his junior career with the Calgary Wranglers of the WHL, and signed a free agent contract with the Edmonton Oilers in 1981 after going undrafted. Riley D. Cote (born March 16, 1982) is a former Canadian professional ice hockey left winger and formerly an assistant coach with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League (AHL). He played eight National Hockey League (NHL) seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers and was mainly known as an enforcer. He currently co-hosts the Nasty Knuckles podcast.
