Cosby High School (Tennessee)
Cosby High School is a public high school in Midlothian, Virginia, United States. Cosby opened in 2006 and is one of the newest of eleven high schools administered by Chesterfield County Public Schools. History Cosby High School was named for its proximity to Cosby Road. Once a major road through the county, it is now only about a mile long, running parallel to the more heavily-trafficked Hull Street Road (US 360). The road's namesake, Wilson Dance Cosby, was a local resident who worked thirty-five years as a county school bus driver. The school includes a health sciences center. In 2015, Cosby was named a National Blue Ribbon School. Athletics Cosby High School is a member of group AAA in the Virginia High School League. They are a part of the AAA Central Region and AAA Dominion District. Midlothian, Virginia
Midlothian ( ) is an unincorporated area in Chesterfield County, Virginia, U.S. Settled as a coal town, Midlothian village experienced suburbanization effects and is now part of the western suburbs of Richmond, Virginia south of the James River in the Greater Richmond Region. Because of its unincorporated status, Midlothian has no formal government, and the name is used to represent the original small Village of Midlothian and a vast expanse of Chesterfield County in the northwest portion of Southside Richmond served by the Midlothian post office. The Village of Midlothian was named for the early 18th-century coal mining enterprises of the Wooldridge family. Bryan Andrei Still (born June 3, 1974) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League. He was the MVP of the 1995 Sugar Bowl. College career Still played college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies. He finished his career at Virginia Tech with 74 catches for 1,458 yards and 11 touchdowns, and was named MVP of the 1995 Sugar Bowl, in which Virginia Tech defeated Texas 28–10 on December 31, 1995. Troy Caupain Jr. (born November 29, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for Pallacanestro Brescia of Lega Basket Serie A. He played college basketball for Cincinnati. Luis Rendon (born November 27, 1993) is a Colombian-American soccer player who last played college soccer for Duke University. Rendon is best known for winning the Gatorade Boys' Soccer Player of the Year award in 2011, a national award given to the best high school soccer player in the United States. Mark Jacob Lowery (born July 21, 1990) is an American professional baseball coach and former baseball catcher who is the manager for the Fredericksburg Nationals.
