The Corrs are an Irish family band that combine pop rock with traditional Irish themes within their music. In Blue
''In Blue'' is the third studio album by Irish pop rock band the Corrs, released in 2000 which saw the band become known in the United States. The title of the album comes from a lyric in the song " Give Me a Reason". As well as the UK number one single " Breathless", the album also contains new versions of "Radio" and "At Your Side", which had appeared on their previous album '' The Corrs Unplugged''. Mutt Lange co-wrote and produced three songs from the album. Several of the tracks were used in various television programmes and films: "Rebel Heart" as the theme for the TV miniseries of the same name; "One Night" in '' Mad About Mambo''; "At Your Side" in '' Say It Isn't So'' and the trailer for the film ''The Holiday''; and " All the Love in the World" in the film ''America's Sweethearts''. Andrea Corr
Andrea Jane Corr MBE (born 17 May 1974) is an Irish singer, songwriter, musician and actress. Corr debuted in 1990 as the lead singer of the Celtic folk rock and pop rock group The Corrs along with her three elder siblings Caroline, Sharon and Jim. Aside from singing lead vocals, Corr plays the tin whistle, the ukulele and the piano. With the others, Corr has released seven studio albums, two compilation albums, one remix album and two live albums. Corr has also pursued a solo career, releasing her debut album, ''Ten Feet High'', in 2007. The album moved away from the sound of the Corrs and features a dance-pop sound. Forgiven, Not Forgotten
''Forgiven, Not Forgotten'' is the debut studio album by Irish pop rock group the Corrs. It was released by Atlantic Records on 26 September 1995 across the world. The album was primarily produced by David Foster, with additional production by Jim Corr. In January 1997, a special tour edition of the album was released in Australia and New Zealand and featured a bonus disc containing live and rare tracks which were recorded from their Forgiven, Not Forgotten World Tour. The title track and the band were featured in an episode of ''Beverly Hills, 90210'' called "Turn Back the Clock". The band performed the song at a New Year's Eve party at the Peach Pit After Dark. ''White Light'' is The Corrs' sixth studio album, released on 27 November 2015 in Europe, excluding German-speaking countries, and released on 12 February 2016 in German-speaking countries. Their first studio album in a decade, after 2005's ''Home'', and their first of original material since 2004's ''Borrowed Heaven'', the album marked their return to the music scene, peaking inside the Top 10 in Hungary, Ireland and Switzerland and reaching the Top 20 in 8 countries. ''Jupiter Calling'' is the seventh studio album by the Corrs, released on 10 November 2017 by East West Records. It is their first new material in two years, following ''White Light'' (2015). It was produced by T Bone Burnett, and recorded at RAK Studios in London. It was promoted by a show at the Royal Albert Hall on 19 October, for which tickets were made available on 15 September. Background Following the release of ''White Light'' in 2015, the band toured the UK and Ireland in January 2016, and continental Europe in mid-2016 on their White Light Tour. Andrea Corr spoke to '' The Sun'' in January 2016, stating that the band were not planning to record a follow-up soon after, "as long as we're all happy to continue. And we are all very happy." Caroline Georgina Corr MBE (born 17 March 1973), known to fans as the "Chick with the Stick", is an Irish singer and drummer for the Celtic folk rock band The Corrs. Sharon Corr
Sharon Helga Corr MBE (born 24 March 1970) is an Irish singer-songwriter, musician, and television personality. She is best known as a member of the pop-rock band The Corrs, which she co-founded in 1990 with her elder brother Jim and younger sisters Caroline and Andrea. She plays the violin, piano and guitar, and sings backing vocals. She began learning the violin when she was six years old. She has played in national youth orchestras and is qualified to teach the violin. The Corr siblings were awarded honorary MBEs in 2005 by Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of both their musical talent and their charitable work raising money for Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, victims of the Omagh Bombing, and other charities. Jim Corr
James Steven Ignatius Corr, (born 31 July 1964) is an Irish musician, singer, songwriter and DJ. He is a member of the Irish folk/rock band The Corrs, the other members being his three younger sisters Andrea, Sharon and Caroline. Musical career Corr first took guitar lessons in his hometown of Dundalk, a large industrial town in County Louth. Corr plays acoustic and electric guitar as well as piano, keyboard, accordion and singing background vocals. He has also had an active role in the production aspects of all of The Corrs' albums to date, working with David Foster and Olle Romo on two separate albums. Radio 2 Live (formally known as Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park and Radio 2's Festival in a Day) is a British music festival that took place from 2011 to 2019 in Hyde Park in London, and is due to be held in Leeds in September 2022. 143 Records was the record label of producer David Foster. 143 was a sub-label of Warner Records and Atlantic Records. The numbers 1-4-3 are derived from the words "I (1 letter) love (4 letters) you (3 letters)." History When record producer David Foster signed a deal with Warner Bros. in 1995, it enabled him to start 143 Records. Foster gave the responsibility for running the label to manager Brian Avnet. One of the label's first signing was Irish folk-rock band The Corrs. In 1997 Foster and Avnet concluded "logo labels" like 143 were in a "bad spot". Foster sold the label back to Warner and then became senior vice-president at the corporation. On September 20, 2001, Warner Music Group announced it was shutting down the label.
