Club Deportes Tolima S.A., commonly known as Deportes Tolima, or simply as Tolima, is a Colombian professional football club based in Ibagué, Tolima Department that currently plays in the Categoría Primera A. Founded in 1954, the club has won the Colombian top tier thrice: in the 2003–II, 2018–I, and 2021–I tournaments, and the Copa Colombia once: in 2014. They play their home games at Estadio Manuel Murillo Toro. Arnoldo Alberto Iguarán Zúñiga (born 18 January 1957), also known as ''El Guajiro'', is a Colombian former professional footballer who played as a forward. He earned 68 caps for the Colombia national team between 1979 and 1993, playing at the 1990 FIFA World Cup and two Copa América tournaments. With 25 international goals, he was the nation's sole top scorer of all time until Radamel Falcao tied him in 2015. Gabriel Camargo Salamanca (23 May 1942 – 21 November 2022) was a Colombian businessman and sports director who worked in politics as a departmental deputy, municipal councilor and senator of the republic. The 1957 Campeonato Profesional was the tenth season of Colombia's top-flight football league. The tournament consisted of a first stage, a cancelled octagonal stage, and a two-group second stage, and ended on 13 April 1958. 12 teams participated in the tournament. Independiente Medellín won the league for 2nd time in its history after defeating Cúcuta Deportivo in the championship playoff with an aggregate score of 8–3.
