History The Cornwall Motor Speedway is a 1/4 mile dirt track near the community of Cornwall, Ontario Ontario ( ; ) is one of the thirteen provinces and territories of Canada.Ontario is located in the geographic eastern half of Canada, but it has historically and politically been considered to be part of Central Canada. Located in Central Ca ..., Canada. It is located northwest of the city on Cornwall Centre Road. The track opened in 1970 and runs weekly racing on Sunday evenings. Weekly race classes include Modified racing, modified, sportsman, pro stock, semi pro and mini stock. Yearly special event shows feature the Big Block Modifieds, sprint cars and late models. Cornwall is a city in Eastern Ontario, Canada, situated where the provinces of Central Canada, Ontario and Quebec and the state of New York (state), New York converge.
