Corner The Con Man
''Corner the Con Man'' (皇家反千組) is a TVB television series released overseas in December 1996 and broadcast on TVB Jade Channel in January 1997. The theme song "Splendid Story" (精彩故事), and subtheme song "Has You Rarely" (難得有你) was composed by Joseph Koo, lyrics by Wong Jim, arrangement by Joseph Koo and Chiu Tsang Hei, and sung by Roman Tam. Synopsis Jiang Yiju (Bobby Au Yeung) comes from a long line of card sharps and confidence men, however rather than using the skills he has learnt for crime, Jiang Yiju is instead a policeman of the Hong Kong Police Force who, together with a small squad of officers, uses his understanding of confidence tricks and tricksters to catch them. His choice of career however sees him come into conflict with members of his extended family dismayed to see their own tricks used against themselves. Leo Ku
Leo Ku Kui-kei is a Hong Kong Cantopop and Mandopop singer, actor, TV host, model, cartoonist, MV director, and producer and designer. Wong Jim
James Wong Jim (; 18 March 1941 – 24 November 2004, also known as "霑叔" or "Uncle Jim") was a Cantopop lyricist and songwriter based primarily in Hong Kong. Beginning from the 1960s, he was the lyricist for over 2,000 songs, collaborating with songwriter Joseph Koo ( Koo Kar-Fai) on many popular television theme songs, many of which have become classics of the genre. His work propelled Cantopop to unprecedented popularity. He was also well known in Asia as a columnist, actor, film director, screenwriter, and talk show host. Joseph Koo Kar-Fai, MBE, GBS (born 3 February 1933), is a Hong Kong composer, who is considered one of the most respected composers in Hong Kong. He used the pen name Moran (莫然) for Mandarin songs early in his career. A card sharp (also cardsharp, card shark or cardshark, sometimes hyphenated) is a person who uses skill and/or deception to win at poker or other card games. Monica Chan
Monica Chan Fat-yung (Chinese: 陳法蓉; born 28 October 1966) is a Hong Kong actress and model. She won the Miss Hong Kong 1989 pageant. Before her acting days, Chan graduated from high school in Canada and attended University of Hawaii. Before she finished her bachelor's degree, she returned to Hong Kong to enter the Miss Hong Kong Pageant. She also gained certificate for diving instructor qualifications.
