Cormac Donnelly
Cormac Donnelly (born 1989) is an Irish hurling coach and former player as a full-back at senior level for the Antrim county team. Donnelly made his first appearance for the team during the 2008 championship and has become a regular player over the last few seasons. During that time he has won three Ulster winners' medals and a Walsh Cup winners' medal. At club level Donnelly plays with the McQuillans, Ballycastle club. In December 2020, himself and Dominic McKinley were named as head coaches of the senior Derry county hurling team. Ballycastle McQuillan GAC
McQuillan GAC Ballycastle (Irish: ''MacUílín CLG Baile an Chaisleáin'') is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the town of Ballycastle, County Antrim, Ballycastle in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The club is affiliated with the Antrim GAA, Antrim county board. The club participates in both hurling and Gaelic football but is known primarily for its hurling successes. They play their home matches at Páirc MacUílín which has also hosted the Antrim GAA, Antrim Senior Hurlers in recent years due to the ongoing redevelopment of Casement Park. Hurling ( ga, iománaíocht, ') is an outdoor team game of ancient Gaelic Irish origin, played by men. One of Ireland's native Gaelic games, it shares a number of features with Gaelic football, such as the field and goals, the number of players and much terminology. The same game played by women is called camogie ('), which shares a common Gaelic root. Ulster Minor Hurling Championship
The Ulster Hurling Minor Championship is an annual hurling competition organised by the Ulster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1930 for the youngest competitors (under-18) in the province of Ulster in Ireland. It is sponsored by the Electricity Supply Board and therefore officially known as the ESB Ulster GAA Hurling Minor Championship. The series of games are played during the summer months with the Ulster final currently being played on the last Sunday of June. The minor final provides the curtain-raiser to the senior final. The prize for the winning team is the Minor Hurling Cup. The Ulster Championship is a part of the wider All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship. Ulster Under-21 Hurling Championship
The Ulster U-21 Hurling Championship, or for sponsorship reasons the Erin Ulster Under-21 Hurling Championship, is an Under 21 hurling tournament between counties affiliated to Ulster. The winners of the Ulster championship go on to qualify for the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship. The most successful county to date are Antrim who have won the competition on 36 occasions. The 2010 champions were Antrim who defeated Armagh by 0-21 to 0-16. . Antrim had won the 2009 title by beating Derry. In 2011, Antrim completed a three in a row of titles, beating Armagh. Derry County Hurling Team
The Derry county hurling team represents Derry GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association, in the Gaelic sport of hurling. The team competes in the Christy Ring Cup and the National Hurling League. Derry's home ground is Celtic Park, Derry. The team's managers are Dominic McKinley and Cormac Donnelly.
