Cork Premier Junior Football Championship
The Cork Premier Junior Football Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Bon Secours Cork Premier Junior Football Championship and abbreviated to the Cork PJFC) is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Cork County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the top-ranking junior clubs in the county of Cork in Ireland. It is the fifth tier overall in the entire Cork football championship system. The Cork Premier Junior Championship was introduced in 2023 following a restructuring of the various intermediate and junior championships. In its current format, the Cork Premier Junior Championship begins in early autumn. The 12 participating club teams are divided into three groups of four teams and play each other in a round-robin system. The three group winners and the three runners-up proceed to the knockout phase that culminates with the final match at Páirc Uí Chaoimh. 2023 Cork Premier Junior Football Championship
The 2023 Cork Premier Junior Football Championship was the inaugural staging of the Cork Premier Junior Football Championship. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 11 December 2022. The championship ran from 29 July to 28 October 2023. The final was played on 28 October 2023 at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork, between St Finbarr's and Kilmurry, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. St Finbarr's won the match by 3-06 to 1-11 to claim their first ever championship title in the grade. Cobh's Diarmuid Kearney was the championship's top scorer with 3-13. Cullen () is a small village and civil parish in County Cork, Ireland, situated north west of Millstreet town, in the barony of Duhallow. Cullen GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Cullen in the north-west of County Cork, Ireland. Cullen is part of the parish of Millstreet. The club plays Gaelic football in the Duhallow division competitions. During the 2000s, the club won the Duhallow Junior A Football Championship for the first time since 1967. Imokilly GAA is a Gaelic football and Hurling division in the east of Cork, Ireland. The division includes towns such as Midleton, Cobh, and Youghal. It is one of eight divisions of Cork County Board. It organizes competitions for the clubs within the division, from Under 12 up to the adult level. The winners of these competitions compete against other divisional champions to determine which club is the county champion. Cobh ( ,), known from 1849 until 1920 as Queenstown, is a seaport town on the south coast of County Cork, Ireland. Muskerry GAA
Muskerry GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling division located in the middle region of County Cork, Ireland. It is one of eight divisions of Cork GAA County Board. The division includes clubs from areas to the west of Cork city stretching to the county bounds with Kerry. Its name is derived from the ancient Gaelic kingdom of Múscraige which, following the Norman conquest, now encompasses the baronies of Muskerry West and Muskerry East.
