Corinne Peters
Corinne Peters (née Laliberte; born 1960) is a Canadian curler from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is the twin sister of Connie Laliberte, with whom she played on the Canadian and World championship team of 1984. She also known as Corrine Webb and played as alternate for Laliberte at the 1993 Scott Tournament of Hearts. Peters was inducted into the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame in 2001. . Curling Canada (formerly the Canadian Curling Association (CCA)) is a sanctioning body for the sport of Curling in Canada. Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice toward a target area which is segmented into four concentric circles. It is related to bowls, boules, and shuffleboard. Two teams, each with four players, take turns sliding heavy, polished granite stones, also called ''rocks'', across the ice ''curling sheet'' toward the ''house'', a circular target marked on the ice.
