Corinne Cole
Corinne Cole (born Corinne Elaine Kegley; April 13, 1937, Brentwood, California) is an American model and actress. She was briefly known as Lari Laine early in her career. Biography Cole was born and raised in Brentwood, California, the daughter of Alice Polk Kegley, a descendant of President James Knox Polk and former Ziegfeld Girl, and Carl S. Kegley, a criminal-trial attorney. She studied journalism at the University of California at Berkeley. She was ''Playboy'' magazine's Playmate of the Month for the May 1958 issue, with her centerfold photographed by Ron Vogel. According to ''The Playmate Book'', Corrine Cole used a pseudonym for her ''Playboy'' appearance because her father was considering running for Congress and she didn't want to disrupt those plans. Sands Hotel And Casino
The Sands Hotel and Casino was a historic American hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada, United States, that operated from 1952 to 1996. Designed by architect Wayne McAllister, with a prominent high sign, the Sands was the seventh resort to open on the Strip. During its heyday, it hosted many famous entertainers of the day, most notably the Rat Pack and Jerry Lewis. The hotel was established in 1952 by Mack Kufferman, who bought the LaRue Restaurant which had opened a year earlier. The hotel was opened on December 15, 1952 as a casino and hotel with 200 rooms. The hotel rooms were divided into four two-story motel wings, each with fifty rooms, and named after famous race tracks. Crime bosses such as Doc Stacher and Meyer Lansky acquired shares in the hotel and attracted Frank Sinatra, who made his performing debut at Sands in October 1953. Oattes Van Schaik (formerly known as The Limit) was a 1980s musical group composed of Dutch producers Bernard Oattes and Rob van Schaik. In 1982, they released the songs "Crimes of Passion" and "She's So Divine" which was edited by Ben Liebrand. In 1985, they released a full-length album, which yielded the hit "Say Yeah" (featuring vocals by Gwen Guthrie). The song peaked at No. 17 on the UK Singles Chart and at No. 7 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Dance/Club Play chart. The duo also wrote and produced for other artists as The Limit Productions such as Centerfold and Five Star with the hit single "Love Take Over".
