Cordell Crockett
Cordell Crockett (born January 21, 1965) is an American rock musician. Crockett is a multi-instrument artist known for playing bass guitar and singing backing vocals for the band Ugly Kid Joe from 1991 until they disbanded in 1997, and again since their reunion in 2010. Early Years and Education Born in Alameda County, California, the son of Jean Weston and Guitar Player magazine editor Jim Crockett, Cordell Crockett grew up in a musical household. His mother played piano and his father, as well as being in publishing was also a musician, playing with 1960s Civil Rights activists Mississippi Caravan of Music alongside singer Cordell Reagon of The Freedom Singers. Crockett attended Salinas High School where he played both trombone and bass guitar in bands from the age of 12. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is a trade organization that represents the music recording industry in the United States. Its members consist of record labels and distributors that the RIAA says "create, manufacture, and/or distribute approximately 85% of all legally sold recorded music in the United States". Atomship
Atomship (formerly known as Watership Down and AtomshipDown) is a four-piece American alternative metal band that was most recently composed of Joey Culver, Chad Kent, Roy Williams, and Jared Slade (brother of Nathan Slade). They are best known for their 2004 single "Pencil Fight". Nathan Slade was the band's original guitarist and songwriter until his tragic death in December 2009. The band was known as Watership Down in 2002, before changing their name due to copyright to Atomship that year. Due to original vocalist Derek Pardoe's anxiety, Joey Culver took over his place as lead singer, and for the recording of their debut album ''The Crash of '47'', released in 2004. Atomship later broke up after the death of Nathan Slade. This led to the band's disbandment later that year. ''Motel California'' is the third album by the American rock band Ugly Kid Joe, and released on October 22, 1996. ''Motel California'' was the last full-length studio album until 2015. The group disbanded in January 1997 and reformed in 13 years later in January 2010. The album received lukewarm reviews and was a commercial failure. The title is a parody of the Eagles' album, ''Hotel California''. The song "Rage Against the Answering Machine" is a pun on the name of the Los Angeles rock band Rage Against the Machine. The album title is an allusion to the movie ''Menace II Society''. It peaked at No. 25 on the UK Albums Chart. "Milkman's Son" and "Tomorrow's World" were released as singles. Shannon Larkin
James Shannon Larkin (born April 24, 1967) is an American musician, best known as the drummer of rock band Godsmack. He replaced the previous drummer Tommy Stewart in June 2002. Prior to Godsmack, he was a member of Amen, Candlebox, Ugly Kid Joe, and Souls at Zero (formerly Wrathchild America). Shannon played drums for Godsmack for their albums '' Faceless'', '' IV'', '' The Other Side EP'', '' The Oracle'', '' 1000hp'', and their latest album ''When Legends Rise''. Career Larkin has been playing drums since the age of ten. He formed Wrathchild America in 1978, recording two albums for Atlantic Records before being dropped by the label.
