Coraline Hugue (born 11 March 1984), also known as Coraline Thomas Hugue, is a French former cross-country skier. She competed for France at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, in skiathlon and women's classical. Embrun (; oc, Ambrun , la, Ebrodunum, , and ) is a commune in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. Description It is located between Gap and Briançon and at the eastern end of one of the largest artificial lakes in Western Europe: the Lac de Serre-Ponçon. The Canadian town of Embrun, Ontario was named after Embrun in 1856. History Embrun was formerly known as Ebrodunum ( in Greek language sources). There is some variation in the writing of the first part of the name. It is Epebrodunum in Strabo's text, but later translators corrected it. FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009
The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 ( cs, Mistrovství světa v klasickém lyžování Liberec 2009) took place 18 February – 1 March 2009 in Liberec, Czech Republic. This was the fourth time these championships were hosted either in the Czech Republic or in Czechoslovakia, having done so at Janské Lázně (1925) and Vysoké Tatry (in both 1935 and 1970). The biggest sports event in the country's history, it hosted 589 athletes from 61 countries. Women's ski jumping and Men's Nordic combined 10 km mass start events debuted at these championships, both won by Americans Lindsey Van and Todd Lodwick, respectively.
