Coral Springs, officially the City of Coral Springs, is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States. The city is located approximately northwest of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Fort Lauderdale. United Soccer League (USL), formerly known as United Soccer Leagues, is a soccer league in the United States and Canada. It organizes several men's and women's leagues, both professional and amateur. Michael Araujo
Michael Araujo is a retired South African soccer player who played professionally in South Africa, the United States, Canada and Ireland. Player Club career Araujo's parents moved from Portugal to South Africa where he was born. In 1986, Araujo entered the College of Boca Raton, now known as Lynn University. He played two seasons of NAIA soccer at Boca Raton, winning the 1987 NAIA national men's soccer championship. Araujo was also a 1987 NAIA Second Team All American. He finished his degree at Florida Atlantic University. In 1990, Roy Wiggemansen, former coach of Boca Raton, brought Araujo into the Montreal Supra which Wiggemansen now coached. Araujo was a Canadian Soccer League All League midfielder that year. Orlando Lions
The Orlando Lions were an American soccer team from Orlando, Florida which existed from 1985 to 1996. Over the years, the Lions competed at both the amateur and professional levels including some seasons as an independent team. The Lions is a nickname that has persisted in the area in connection with later efforts to bring pro soccer to the area.
