Copiague Harbor ( ) is an incorporated community in the hamlet of Copiague. It is located south of Merrick Road (or Montauk Highway), off of South Great Neck Road in Suffolk County, New York, USA, on the South Shore of Long Island. It is sometimes referred to as Great Neck Landing. Description Copiague Harbor is a small community located on a southern peninsula of Copiague, primarily composed of larger size homes deeded belonging to a homeowners' association, Great South Bay Estates Homeowner's Association (GSBEHA). The community offers amenities including a mini-beach and mini-marina on a private lagoon. It was developed in the 1960s intended as a private community, gated and guarded. Montauk Highway
Montauk Highway is an east–west road extending for across the southern shore of Long Island in Suffolk County, New York, in the United States. It extends from the Nassau County line in Amityville, where it connects to Merrick Road, to Montauk Point State Park at the very eastern end of Long Island in Montauk. The highway is known by several designations along its routing, primarily New York State Route 27A (NY 27A) from the county line to Oakdale and NY 27 east of Southampton. Merrick Road
Merrick Road is an east–west urban arterial in Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk counties in New York, United States. It is known as Merrick Boulevard or Floyd H. Flake Boulevard in Queens, within New York City. Merrick Road runs east from the Queens neighborhood of Jamaica through Merrick past the county line between Nassau and Suffolk into Amityville, where it becomes Montauk Highway at the Amityville–Copiague village/hamlet line. The easternmost portion of Merrick Road, from Carman Mill Road to its eastern terminus, signed as part of New York State Route 27A (NY 27A). The Town of Babylon is one of ten towns in Suffolk County, New York, United States. Its population was 218,223 as of the 2020 census.
