Grove.io was originally Convore, a real-time chat web application created by co-founders Eric Florenzano, Leah Culver, and Eric Maguire. ''PC World'' said "It works as a news aggregate as well as a question/answer forum for its myriad of topics"; according to ''MIT Technology Review ''MIT Technology Review'' is a bimonthly magazine wholly owned by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and editorially independent of the university. It was founded in 1899 as ''The Technology Review'', and was re-launched without "The" in ...'', it had "the polish and responsiveness that most new sites of its ilk lack." In January 2012, Convore pivoted into Grove.io, with a focus on providing services for businesses, and touting as a core feature that it was based on IRC. Leah Culver
Leah Culver (born 1982 or 1983) is a computer programmer, startup founder, and angel investor. Education Culver started as an art major at the University of Minnesota, but switched majors and earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science in 2006. Career Culver is a co-author of a Python library for the open-standard authentication OAuth 1.0 and a co-author of OEmbed. After graduating, she worked at the startups iLoop Mobile and Instructables. While working at Instructables, she received attention for etching company logos onto her laptop, which was funded by that ad space. In June 2007, she co-founded Pownce, with Digg's cofounder Kevin Rose and Digg’s creative director, Daniel Burka. Pownce was a micro-blogging site she programmed by herself as an experiment, described as "Twitter meets Napster". ''PC World'' (stylized as PCWorld) is a global computer magazine published monthly by IDG. Since 2013, it has been an online only publication. It offers advice on various aspects of PCs and related items, the Internet, and other personal technology products and services. MIT Technology Review
''MIT Technology Review'' is a bimonthly magazine wholly owned by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and editorially independent of the university. It was founded in 1899 as ''The Technology Review'', and was re-launched without "The" in its name on April 23, 1998 under then publisher R. Bruce Journey. In September 2005, it was changed, under its then editor-in-chief and publisher, Jason Pontin, to a form resembling the historical magazine. Before the 1998 re-launch, the editor stated that "nothing will be left of the old magazine except the name." It was therefore necessary to distinguish between the modern and the historical ''Technology Review''. A web application (or web app) is application software that is accessed using a web browser. Web applications are delivered on the World Wide Web to users with an active network connection.
