Aziza Mustafa Zadeh ( az, Əzizə Mustafazadə; born December 19, 1969) is an Azerbaijanis, Azerbaijani singer, pianist, and composer who plays a jazz fusion, fusion of jazz and mugham (a traditional improvisational style of Azerbaijan) with Classical music era, classical and avant-garde music, avant-garde influences. Biography Aziza was born in Baku to musical parents Vagif Mustafa Zadeh, Vagif and Elza Mustafa Zadeh (née Bandzeladze). Aziza's parents first noticed their daughter's sensitivity to music when she was eight months old. Aziza recalls the story as her mother tells it: Aziza enjoyed all forms of art, especially dancing, painting and singing. At the age of three, she made her stage debut with her father, improvising vocals. She began studying classical piano at an early age, showing special interest in the works of famous composers Johann Sebastian Bach and Frédéric Chopin. Contrasts (Bartók)
''Contrasts'' ( Sz. 111, BB 116) is a 1938 composition scored for clarinet-violin-piano trio by Béla Bartók (1881–1945). It is based on Hungarian and Romanian dance melodies and has three movements with a combined duration of 17–20 minutes. Bartók wrote the work in response to a letter from violinist Joseph Szigeti, although it was officially commissioned by clarinetist Benny Goodman. Structure The work is in three movements: #''Verbunkos'' (Recruiting Dance) #''Pihenő'' (Relaxation) #''Sebes'' (Fast Dance) The movements contrast in tempo.
