Consuelo Frank
Consuelo Frank Galza (25 April 1912 – 31 March 1991), sometimes credited as Consuelito Frank, was a Mexican actress who played leading roles in the 1930s and 1940s and supporting roles from the early 1950s to the 1980s. Career Born in Arteaga, Michoacán, she made her acting debut in the stage as part of Chato Ortín's theatrical company. Her film debut came in ''Tierra, amor y dolor'' (1935), co-starring Domingo Soler. Her refined beauty and regal bearing caused her to be typecast as noblewomen and queens, such as Elisabeth Farnese in ''Rosa de Francia'' (1935), Anne of Austria in '' Los tres mosqueteros'' (1942), and the Viceroy's wife in '' Macario'' (1960). Golden Age Of Mexican Cinema
The Golden Age of Mexican cinema ( es, Época de Oro del Cine Mexicano) is a period in the history of the Cinema of Mexico between 1930 and 1969 when the Mexican film industry reached high levels of production, quality and economic success of its films, besides having gained recognition internationally. It began with the film ''Allá en el Rancho Grande'' (1936), directed by Fernando de Fuentes. In 1939, during World War II, the film industry in the US and Europe declined, because the materials previously destined for film production now were for the new arms industry. Many countries began to focus on making films about war, leaving an opportunity for Mexico to produce commercial films for the Mexican and Latin American markets. This cultural environment favored the emergence of a new generation of directors and actors considered to date, icons in Mexico and in Hispanic countries and Spanish-speaking audiences. ''Corazón salvaje'' is a Mexican telenovela, which was produced by and broadcast on Televisa in 1977. It is the fourth of five screen adaptations of the novel of the same name by Caridad Bravo Adams, and the second telenovela. The first telenovela starred singer Julissa while the 1977 production starred singer Angélica María who had previously had the role of Mónica in the 1968 film version. ''Corazón salvaje'' ("Wild at Heart") was the second film adaptation of the Caridad Bravo Adams 1957 novel of the same name. It is considered the closest to the original story. The first film was made in 1956 and starred Martha Roth. The 1968 version starred Julio Alemán in the role of Juan del Diablo and Angélica María as Mónica Molnar – this part made her a star in China. She later repeated her role in the 1977 telenovela version. ''The Ship of Monsters'' ( es, La nave de los monstruos) is a 1960 Mexican comic science fiction film. It was produced by Jesús Sotomayor Martínez, directed by Rogelio A. González, and starred Eulalio González, Ana Bertha Lepe and Lorena Velázquez. The screenplay, by Alfredo Varela, Jr., was based on a story by José María Fernández Unsáin.
