Constituency NA-87 (Jhang-II) ( ur, این اے-۸۷، جھنگ-۲) was a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan from 1970 to 2018. It comprised Bhowana Tehsil and some areas of Chiniot and Jhang Tehsils. Upon new delimitation in 2018, this constituency's areas were divided among NA-100, NA-115 and NA-116. Election 2002 General elections were held on 10 Oct 2002. Ghulam Bibi Bharwana of PML-Q won by 55,851 votes. Election 2008 General elections were held on 18 Feb 2008. Ghulam Bibi Bharwana of PML-Q won by 63,515 votes. Election 2013 General elections were held on 11 May 2013. The National Assembly ( ur, , translit=Aiwān-e-Zairīñ, , or ur, قومی اسمبلی, Romanization, romanized: ''Qaumi Assembly'') is the lower house, lower legislative house of the bicameralism, bicameral Parliament of Pakistan, which also comprises the Senate of Pakistan (upper house). Jhang District
Jhang District ( Punjabi and ur, ) is a district of Faisalabad division in the Punjab province, Pakistan. Jhang city is the capital of district. Geography Jhang District has a triangle-like shape, with its apex at the narrow southwestern corner and its base on the northeastern side. The district is traversed by two major rivers, the Jhelum and the Chenab. The Chenab generally flows towards the southwest, and it runs right down the middle of the district so that it practically divides the district into two equal parts. The Jhelum enters Jhang District to the west of the Chenab and flows almost due south until it meets the Chenab at a place called the Domel. The combined river takes the name Chenab, and it leaves the district just to the east of the far southwestern corner. Bhowana Tehsil
Bhawana (also spelled as Bhowana) ( pa, , ur, ) is a city and capital of Bhawana Tehsil of Chiniot District in Punjab, Pakistan. It is located on the bank of the Chenab river, bounded by Faisalabad, Jhang, and Chiniot, three other cities in Punjab. History Bhawana is one of the ancient cities of Pakistan. The Mughal Emperor Zahir-ud-din Babur mentions the area in his book the ''Tuzk-e-Babari'' for its fine architecture and finely handcrafted jharoka windows of many of the old ''havelis'' (manors) and other buildings of the old/medieval town. Geography and climate Bhawana is located by the side of Jhang Chiniot road and on the left bank of the Chenab river.
