Conspiritus
''Conspiritus'' is the fifth studio album of the left field metal/rock project Ewigkeit, released in 2005 by Earache Records. The album displays a mix of industrial, ambient and electronic music set to a metal back-drop and centres on a hypothetical global conspiracy (often referred to as the Illuminati) whose aim is to install a totalitarian global government that surveys its citizens' every move. Fogarty's work on the album took over 14 months, with extensive research into the world of conspiracy and its many associated theories. It is to date the most researched music album ever created on this subject - crowned by the fact that along with the orthodox methods of music website / magazine promotion and distribution, it is also sold through the website of conspiracy researcher David Icke. Having released five studio albums, on 28 March 2007, Fogarty announced the end of the project on Blabbermouth, the Death To Music website and also on Myspace but revived it in 2012. Band history The purpose of this one-man project was to try and forge a unique musical sound. After the release of the first album, ''Battle Furies'' on a short-lived Neat Records subsidiary called Eldethorn, Fogarty gave his entire music collection away to an Oxfam charity shop so that he would be free of influences creating his next work. ''Starscape'' was received well by the extreme music press, but label folded and the project was put on hiatus. During the missing years, Ewigkeit concentrated on his other black metal project The Meads of Asphodel and his collaboration with Jimmy Cauty on the multi-media project Blacksmoke. James Fogarty
James Fogarty is an English multi-media artist. Concentrating mainly on music crossing over between metal and sampled based music, his projects past and present are In the Woods..., The Blacksmoke Organisation, The Bombs Of Enduring Freedom, Ewigkeit, Jaldaboath (both as a solo artist and founding member of The Meads Of Asphodel) and producing occasional releases for Death To Music productions. He also contributed artwork to the CNPD in the book ''Stamps Of Mass Destruction (and other postal disasters) Vol 2'' (), printed in 2005. He plays guitar, keyboards and is a singer. John Fryer (music)
John Fryer (born 1958) is an English record producer. Best known for his production work, he has also performed as a musician, as one of the two constant members of This Mortal Coil (along with Ivo Watts-Russell), providing keyboards, strings and synthesizer sequencing for the band, and its offshoot, The Hope Blister. Career Fryer started out at Blackwing Studios in south London, working with bands on the 4AD, Mute, Rough Trade and Beggars Banquet record labels, including Depeche Mode, Fad Gadget and Cocteau Twins. His work with the Cocteau Twins, helping to develop their ethereal and ambient sound, led Watts-Russell to recruit Fryer as his musical and producing partner for This Mortal Coil. Groove Metal
Groove metal is a subgenre of heavy metal music that began in the early 1990s. The genre achieved success in the 1990s and continued having success in the 2000s. David Icke
David Vaughan Icke (; born 29 April 1952) is an English conspiracy theorist and a former footballer and sports broadcaster. He has written over 20 books, self-published since the mid-1990s, and spoken in more than 25 countries. In 1990, Icke visited a psychic who told him he was on Earth for a purpose and would receive messages from the spirit world.
