Wild Things Park is a 3,200-seat multi-purpose baseball stadium in North Franklin Township, a suburb of Washington, Pennsylvania. It hosted its first regular season baseball game on May 29, 2002, as the primary tenants of the facility, the Washington Wild Things, lost to the Canton Coyotes, 3-0. The ballpark also hosts the California Vulcans baseball team, representing Pennsylvania Western University California. It was the home of the Pennsylvania Rebellion of the National Pro Fastpitch, a women's professional softball league, until 2017 when the team folded. It also hosts Trinity High School's baseball team and the WPIAL Baseball Championships. It was briefly the home of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds soccer club (who now play at Highmark Stadium) during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. Canton () is a city in and the county seat of Stark County, Ohio. It is located approximately south of Cleveland and south of Akron in Northeast Ohio. Richmond Roosters
The Richmond Roosters were a professional baseball team based in Richmond, Indiana from 1995-2005. The Roosters played in the independent Frontier League, which at that time had no affiliation with Major League Baseball. The Roosters began play in the third season of the Frontier League when the Kentucky Rifles franchise folded and Richmond was granted an expansion team. The team played at Don McBride Stadium in Richmond. The franchise was sold after the 2005 season, moved to Traverse City, Michigan and became the Traverse City Beach Bums, who played at Wuerfel Park in the Traverse City suburb of Blair Township from 2006-2018. Leo Joseph Trich, Jr. (born July 23, 1951) is a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Biography Trich is a 1969 graduate of Washington High School. He attended California University of Pennsylvania and Washington and Jefferson College. Prior to elective office, he served as Commissioner of PONY Baseball the Washington, Pennsylvania-based international youth baseball program, where he worked from 1971 thru 1986. He also served as vice president of the USA Baseball from 1978 to 1986 and as a member of the United States Olympic Committee from 1980 to 1985.
