The Conservative People's Party ( es, Partido Conservador Popular; PCP) is a minor social conservative political party in Argentina founded in 1958 by Vicente Solano Lima, who was vice president of Argentina in 1973. It was founded as a split from the National Democratic Party (PDN) following the 1955 coup that ousted Juan Domingo Perón from the presidency. A historical ally of Peronism and the Justicialist Party, in recent years the PCP has backed anti-peronist parties and alliances, and was one of the founding parties of the Cambiemos coalition in 2015. The Conservative People's Party ( da, Det Konservative Folkeparti, DKF), also known as The Conservatives () is a conservative centre-right political party in Denmark. The party is a member of the European People's Party (EPP) and International Democrat Union. History The party was founded in 1916 based mostly on its predecessor, Højre ("Right") after its downfall, but also on the Free Conservatives and a moderate faction of the liberal party Venstre. The party was a part of the coalition government during World War II, where the leader John Christmas Møller provided the voice for BBC London's daily radio to Denmark. Conservative People's Party Of Estonia
The Conservative People's Party of Estonia ( et, Eesti Konservatiivne Rahvaerakond, EKRE) is a national-conservative and right-wing populist political party in Estonia. It is currently led by Martin Helme. It was founded in March 2012, with the merger of People's Union of Estonia and Estonian Patriotic Movement. Its first leader, Margo Miljand, served as the chairman until 2013, when he was succeeded by Mart Helme. Its popularity remained low until late 2014, when they managed to draw supporters from the right; further, in the 2015 Estonian parliamentary election, they managed to cross the threshold. Over the years, it managed to position itself as one of the largest parties in Estonia. In the 2019 Estonian parliamentary election, they placed third, winning 19 seats in total. The Conservative People's Party (German: , KVP) was a short-lived conservative and Christian democratic political party of the moderate right in the last years of the Weimar Republic. It broke away from the German National People's Party (DNVP) in July 1930 as a result of the DNVP's increasing shift to the right under the leadership of Alfred Hugenberg. It remained a numerically insignificant minor party but was represented in the governments of Heinrich Brüning (1930–1932). The KVP folded on 31 March 1933 after it ran out of funds. Name The term (popular conservative) was probably first used by journalist Hermann Ullmann in 1926.
