Conquista is a municipality located in the west of Minas Gerais, Brazil. , 6,969 inhabitants are estimated to live within the of Conquista. The city belongs to the mesoregion of Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba and to the microregion of Uberaba. Conquista became a municipality in 1912. Conquista has an elevation of 673 meters, and is southeast of Uberaba. The distance to the state capital, Belo Horizonte, is 469 km. Poços de Caldas is a municipality in the south of Minas Gerais state, Brazil, in the microregion of the same name. Its estimated population in 2020 was 168,641 inhabitants. The city is known for its hot springs. History Poços was founded in 1872.
