Conoy Township is a township in northwestern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. At the 2020 census the population was 3,373. History Conoy Township was formed in 1842 from West Donegal Township. Conoy is an Indian name. An early settler was the French-Canadian fur trader Peter Bisaillon who was granted 700 acres near Conoy Creek in 1719. Locust Grove was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. Geography According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , of which, of it is land and of it (20.04%) is water. It includes the communities of Falmouth, Bainbridge, Stacktown, Locust Grove, and Billmeyer. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 3,067 people, 1,103 households, and 873 families living in the township. The population density was 206.6 people per square mile (79.8/km).
