Conor Nash
Conor Nash (born 28 July 1998) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). The former Ireland national schoolboy rugby union team player was signed by Hawthorn as a category B rookie in October 2016 in the 2016 AFL draft#2016 rookie draft, 2016 rookie draft. Sporting career A former Meath GAA, Meath minor footballer, in 2016 Nash was offered a Leinster Rugby, Leinster rugby union academy contract, but instead opted to move Down Under and he has not looked back since. Astra both on and off the field Conor Nash is well known for running through the streets of Melbourne on a morning jog. Nash joined in late 2016 as a Category B rookie, having already represented Ireland U18 rugby side. He made his Box Hill debut in 2017. Meath GAA
The Meath County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste na Mí) or Meath GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Meath, as well as for Meath county teams. Football County team The first notable Meath team was the Pierce O'Mahony's club from Navan that represented the county in the All-Ireland final of 1895, in the days when the competition was played between the champion clubs from each county. O'Mahony's lost to Arravale Rovers of Tipperary by 0-4 to 0-3. The county had to wait until 1939 for its next appearance at All-Ireland level, this time losing narrowly to Kerry by 2-5 to 2-3 in the final. In the intervening period, the county had achieved its first national success by winning the National League of 1933.
