Conor Moynagh
Conor Moynagh (born 1 January 1993) is an Irish business-man and Gaelic footballer who played for the Cavan county team, from Minor to Senior, since 2009. He plays his club football with Drumgoon Eire Og in Cavan, having also played overseas in Boston, Chicago, Middle East and New Zealand. Playing career Club Conor Moynagh engaged in a diverse sports life in his early years, winning national titles in athletics in both track and cross country in the juvenile ranks. In addition, he claimed representative honours in soccer, playing Kennedy Cup (2005 and 2006) and Milk Cup (now Super Cup NI) in 2007, and won a representative 'cap' against Qatar in the same year. As a 16-17 year-old (during Transition Year) he played League of Ireland soccer with Monaghan United. GAA Interprovincial Championship
The GAA Interprovincial Championship ( ga, An Corn Idir-Chúigeach) or Railway Cup (''Corn an Iarnróid'') is the name of two annual Gaelic football and hurling competitions held between the provinces of Ireland. The Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster GAA teams are composed of the best players from the counties in each province. The games are organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. The Railway Cup was a revival of the Railway Shield which ran from 1905 to 1907 (football) and from 1905 to 1908 (hurling). The first Railway Cup competitions (the name is due to the donation of the trophy by Irish Rail) were held in 1927, with Munster winning the first football title and Leinster winning the first hurling title. Colm O%27Connell
Brother Colm O'Connell is an Irish missionary and athletics coach, known as "the Godfather of Kenyan running". O'Connell is originally from Caherduggan, Mallow, County Cork. He joined the Patrician Brothers at the age of 14, training in Tullow, County Carlow, and went on to study at National University of Ireland in Galway, formerly University College Galway. He spent two years in Patrician Secondary School, Newbridge before departing Ireland for the Great Rift Valley in Kenya in 1976 to teach geography at St. Patrick's High School in Iten, Keiyo District, Rift Valley Province in Kenya. He came to Iten expecting to stay just three months. He has lived in Iten ever since. GAA GPA All Stars Awards
The Gaelic Athletic Association-Gaelic Players' Association All Stars Awards (often known simply as the All Stars) are awarded annually to the best player in each of the 15 playing positions in Gaelic football and hurling. Additionally, one player in each code is selected as Player of the Year. The awards were instituted in 1971. Since 2011 they have been presented jointly by the Gaelic Athletic Association and the representative body for inter-county players, the Gaelic Players Association.
