Conor Francis McDermott (born October 19, 1992) is an American football offensive tackle for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at UCLA, and was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Professional career New England Patriots The New England Patriots selected McDermott in the sixth round (211th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was waived on September 2, 2017. Buffalo Bills On September 3, 2017, McDermott was claimed off waivers by the Buffalo Bills. On October 3, 2019, McDermott was waived by the Bills. The 2017 NFL Draft was the 82nd annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible American football players. It was held in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art on April 27–29, returning to Philadelphia for the first time since 1961. Kevin Patrick McDermott II (born January 12, 1990) is a former American football long snapper. He played college football at UCLA, and signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2013. Early years McDermott was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a member of the charter class at Ensworth High School from 2005-2008. College career McDermott enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2008 as a walk-on tight end. In 2011, he was awarded a scholarship by then UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel upon winning the long snapping job.
