Connor Smith (footballer, Born 2002)
Connor Smith (born 1 February 2002) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for St Johnstone, as a midfielder. Club career He made his senior debut for Heart of Midlothian on 13 May 2018, in a 1–0 league defeat away at Kilmarnock. He was one of four Hearts youth players to make their debuts in that match, alongside Chris Hamilton, Cammy Logan, and Leeroy Makovora. Smith was subsequently loaned to Cowdenbeath, Arbroath, Cove Rangers and Queen's Park. He moved on loan to Hamilton Academical in January 2023. On 1 September 2023, Smith joined National League North side Scunthorpe United on loan for the 23/24 campaign. On 26 January 2024, Smith signed for Scottish Premiership club St Johnstone on a contract until May 2025. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. Cammy Logan (born 28 January 2002) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Queen of the South. Logan has previously played for Heart of Midlothian, as well as loan spells with Cove Rangers, Edinburgh City, Kelty Hearts and Queen of the South. Callum Smith (born 13 November 1999) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a forward for Airdrieonians. Smith has previously played for Alloa Athletic, Arbroath, Hamilton Academical and Dunfermline Athletic. Career Smith was educated at Beath High School and began his career with Cowdenbeath's youth squad, before moving to Dunfermline Athletic, nicknamed ''the Pars'', to join the Under 15s side. Smith then continued his development with the Fife Elite Football Academy, after the amalgamation of Fife's football clubs' youth sides into one academy. In 2016, Smith returned to the Pars, signing a one-year contract with the club to play for the side's development squad. His first appearance for the first-team came in the Scottish League Cup, where he came on as a 78th-minute substitute for Michael Moffat in the 5–1 loss to Inverness Caledonian Thistle at East End Park. Broughton High School, Edinburgh
Broughton High School is a secondary school located in the north of Edinburgh, Scotland. In 2009, the building at Inverleith was replaced with a building funded by a public–private partnership. The school is currently situated next to Inverleith Park, in the Stockbridge neighbourhood of Edinburgh but was formerly in Broughton, where the poet Hugh MacDiarmid was a pupil. Description The school was recently named in Tatlers list of top state schools.
