Connie (Burmese Singer)
Connie ( my, ကော်နီ, ; born Yadana Tun (, ) on 21 December 1967) is a Burmese singer, known for her Burmese language cover song, covers of American heavy metal music, heavy metal and pop songs. She was most popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Connie got her start as a Backing vocalist, background vocalist for the New Wave band. In the mid-1980s, she was signed by successful cover songwriter Thukhamein Hlaing for three albums. She released her first album, ''Tarzan,'' in 1986, and achieved success with her follow-up album ''Ninja''. Political activities Following the 2021 Myanmar coup d'état, Connie was active in the anti-coup movement through social media. Mingaladon Township
Mingaladon Township ( my, မင်္ဂလာဒုံ မြို့နယ် ) is located in the northernmost part of Yangon, Myanmar. The township comprises 31 wards, and shares borders with Hmawbi Township in the north, North Okkalapa Township in the east, Insein Township and Shwepyitha Township in the west, and Mayangon Township in the south. 2021 Myanmar Coup D'état
A coup d'état in Myanmar began on the morning of 1 February 2021, when democratically elected members of the country's ruling party, the National League for Democracy (NLD), were deposed by the Tatmadaw—Myanmar's military—which then vested power in a military junta. Civil Disobedience Movement
The Salt March, also known as the Salt Satyagraha, Dandi March and the Dandi Satyagraha, was an act of nonviolent civil disobedience in colonial India led by Mahatma Gandhi. The twenty-four day march lasted from 12 March to 6 April 1930 as a direct action campaign of tax resistance and nonviolent protest against the British salt monopoly. Another reason for this march was that the Civil Disobedience Movement needed a strong inauguration that would inspire more people to follow Gandhi's example. Gandhi started this march with 78 of his trusted volunteers. The march spanned , from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi, which was called Navsari at that time (now in the state of Gujarat). The State Administration Council ( my, နိုင်ငံတော်စီမံအုပ်ချုပ်ရေးကောင်စီ; abbreviated SAC or နစက) is the military junta currently governing Myanmar, established by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Min Aung Hlaing following the February 2021 coup d'état.
