''Confia em Mim'' is a 2014 Brazilian thriller film directed by Michel Tikhomiroff. It is the first feature film directed by Tikhomiroff. Plot Mari, a promising chef, works hard to save her economies to open her own restaurant. Recently separated she now engages with Caio, an investor who will help her to realize her dream. Mateus Solano Schenker Carneiro da Cunha (born 20 March 1981) is a Brazilian actor. He is best known for his performances in Brazilian telenovelas, television series and films. After his debut in Brazilian entertainment industry, Solano has featured in more than a dozen of telenovelas. In telenovelas, he is known for his roles in ''Viver a Vida'', ''Gabriela'', '' Amor à Vida'', among others. Fernanda Arrias Machado (born 10 October 1980) is a Brazilian actress. She is best known for her role as Maria in the film ''Tropa de Elite''. Career Her first television work was in 2004, when she played Sonya in Rede Globo's telenovela ''Começar de Novo'', by Antônio Calmon and Elizabeth Jhin. She played Dalila in 2005 Rede Globo's telenovela ''Alma Gêmea'' and Joana in 2007's telenovela ''Paraíso Tropical''. where she won the 2007 best supporting actress of TV Globo. Fernanda Machado played the role of Laís in Rede Globo's 2009 telenovela ''Caras & Bocas'', by Walcyr Carrasco. She had previously worked with him in Alma Gêmea.
