Hunslet Club Parkside
Hunslet Club Parkside was an English amateur rugby league club based in Hunslet, West Yorkshire. Its first team competed in the National Conference League. History The club was founded in the 1940s as Hunslet Boys Club, playing junior rugby until 1999 when the club formed an open age team named Hunslet Old Boys. In 2012, Hunslet Parkside approached Hunslet Old Boys about a possible merger, which went ahead several months later. Hunslet Parkside was a junior club formed in 1973 following the demise of the town's professional club, and was based in the Belle Isle area in the south of Leeds. The club produced a number of high-profile players in its history, including Garry Schofield, Jason Robinson, Sonny Nickle, James Lowes and Sam Burgess. Leigh Miners Rangers
Leigh Miners Rangers are a community amateur rugby league football club from Leigh in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan, Greater Manchester. The club currently competes in the National Conference League, the National Conference Premier Division. The club also operates an A team, Masters, an Under 18's team, and numerous junior teams. Miners Rangers also field a successful Ladies side in the RFL Women's Super League Group The club was founded in 1966 as Leigh Miners Welfare. The club later merged with the junior club Leigh Rangers, and changed its name to Leigh Miners Rangers. The club have defeated professional opposition twice in the Challenge Cup. A single-elimination, knockout, or sudden death tournament is a type of elimination tournament where the loser of each match-up is immediately eliminated from the tournament. The Rugby Football League is the governing body for professional rugby league in England, and until 1995 for the whole British Isles. The name Rugby Football League previously also referred to the main league competition run by the organisation. This has since been supplanted by Super League, the Championship and League 1. The National Conference League (known as the Kingstone Press National Conference League for sponsorship reasons) is the top English amateur rugby league competition in the Rugby Football League pyramid, and as such is the leading amateur rugby league competition in England. Wigan St. Patricks is an amateur rugby league football club based in the Scholes area of Wigan, Greater Manchester. The first team plays in the National Conference League Division One . West Hull A.R.L.F.C. is an amateur rugby league football club from Kingston upon Hull, currently playing in the National Conference League Premier Division. The team plays their home matches at West Hull Community Park and their strip colours are green and gold. History The game of rugby of one sorts or another has been played in the Wath Brow area of Cleator Moor for many a long year, Prior to the great breakaway in 1895 there was a rugby union team with the name now associated to the rugby league club. The original Wath Brow RL, or Northern Union as it was originally known, was founded in 1898, when a Mr. Wilson represented Cumberland in the first ever County Championship against Cheshire. Rochdale Mayfield are an amateur rugby league football club from Castleton, Rochdale, Greater Manchester. The club currently competes in the top division of the National Conference League. The club also operates academy teams who are known collectively as Rochdale Mayfield Mustangs. History ''Mayfield ARLFC'' were formed in 1958. The club's name came from the Mayfield Hotel in Rochdale where they were originally based.
