''Con rispetto parlando'' is a 1965 Italian black tragicomedy film written and directed by Marcello Ciorciolini for Turris Film. It stars Aroldo Tieri, Scilla Gabel, Renzo Palmer, Giusi Raspani Dandolo and Carlo Giuffré. Plot A girl returns to her home town to attend the funeral of the mayor. During the proceedings she witnesses how fake the people attending are, using the event for their own political gain. The funeral turns into an election campaign event. Marcello Ciorciolini
Marcello Ciorciolini (16 January 1922 – 5 September 2011) was an Italian screenwriter, director, playwright, television and radio author and lyricist. Life and career Born in Rome, Ciorciolini began his career in 1950 as a radio writer, often collaborating with Alberto Talegalli. Shorty later he entered the cinema industry as screenwriter, specializing in the comedy genre and also directing a number of films. As a lyricist he was author of several hits, notably Mina's "Una zebra a pois" and " Ti guarderò nel cuore", the theme song of ''Mondo cane''. Between 1970s and 1980s he was mainly active as an author of television variety shows. On stage, he was active as an author of revues and comedy plays, and more sporadically of dramas. Ciorciolini was one of the favorite authors of the comic duo Franco and Ciccio, with whom he collaborated in television, cinema and even for some songs. Carlo Giuffrè (3 December 1928 – 1 November 2018) was an Italian stage, film and television actor and a stage director. He appeared in more than 90 films between 1942 and 2002. Biography Giuffrè was born in Naples, Italy and was the brother of the actor Aldo Giuffrè. He enrolled at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts Silvio D'Amico, then he made his stage debut in 1949 with the company of Eduardo De Filippo. In 1984 Giuffrè won a David di Donatello for Best Supporting Actor for the comedy film '' Son contento'', directed by Maurizio Ponzi. Caterina Ranieri (31 August 1925 – 3 September 2018), known professionally as Katyna Ranieri, was an Italian singer. Biography Ranieri was born in Follonica in 1925. She had her first hit in 1954 at the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Una canzone da due soldi". Ranieri enjoyed great success singing "Ti guarderò nel cuore", the Italian vocal version of the theme song of the 1962 film ''Mondo Cane'' and the subsequent English vocal version known as "More". She performed this song at the 36th Academy Awards in 1964, becoming the first, and thus far only, Italian singer to perform at the Academy Awards. Nino Terzo (22 May 1923 – 8 May 2005) was an Italian actor. Life and career Born in Palermo as Antonino Terzo, he worked intensively in the avanspettacolo and revue theater, entering the stage companies of Totò, Peppino De Filippo, Franco and Ciccio, Domenico Modugno, among others. Terzo was also active as a singer, appearing in several operettas. Terzo made his film debut in 1962, and he soon established himself as one of the most active character actors in the Italian comedy cinema, usually playing, with small variations, the character that made him famous in avanspettacolo, i.e. a man with extremely slow reflexes and a huge speech impediment, which does not allow him to speak before he loudly inhaled and exhaled. Angelo Infanti (; 16 February 1939 – 12 October 2010) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in more than 90 films between 1961 and 2010. He was born on 16 February 1939 in Zagarolo, Italy. He died on 12 October 2010 in Tivoli, Italy due to cardiac arrest. Infanti is best known to non-Italian audiences as Fabrizio in ''The Godfather''. Fabrizio was a bodyguard to Michael Corleone who was hiding in Sicily. Fabrizio betrays Michael by setting up explosives in his car, but kills his new bride instead. In the novel, Fabrizio is later shot dead in revenge for the killing. A scene was filmed of him being killed by the Corleones using a car bomb but was cut from the motion picture before its theatrical release.
