''Compass'' is the second studio album by Australian tenor, Mark Vincent. The album was released through Sony Music Australia on 15 April 2010 and peaked at number 2 on the ARIA Charts. The album was certified gold. The album includes the title track "Compass" which was written by Dianne Warren especially for Mark. Mark Vincent (born 4 September 1993) is an Australian tenor. Vincent won the third season of ''Australia's Got Talent'' in 2009 and signed with Sony Music Australia immediately after. As of 2018, Vincent has released seven studio albums and one "best of". History Vincent was born in Caringbah, New South Wales. In February 2009, Vincent appeared on the third season of ''Australia's Got Talent'' singing "Nessun Dorma". On 22 April 2009, Vincent was declared the winner and immediately signed with Sony Music Australia. Vincent released his debut studio album, '' My Dream – Mio Visione'' in July 2009. Greta Bradman
Greta Bradman (born 1979 or 1982) is an Australian operatic soprano. Career Richard Bonynge selected Bradman to sing the title role in a concert performance of Handel's '' Rodelinda'' in 2014. Bradman was the subject of two episodes of the ABC TV program ''Australian Story'' in 2015. Later that year, she joined David Hobson, Teddy Tahu Rhodes, and Lisa McCune for a concert tour of the five Australian mainland state capitals. Bradman's name was added as a critics' choice to the Walk of Fame at the Adelaide Festival Centre. After guest presenting in 2016, in 2017 Bradman joined ABC Classic FM as a presenter. 2017 saw Bradman's only performance in a fully staged opera as Mimì in Gale Edwards' production of ''La bohème'' for Opera Australia in the Sydney Opera House. The compact disc (CD) is a Digital media, digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings. The iTunes Store is a digital media store operated by Apple Inc. It opened on April 28, 2003, as a result of Steve Jobs' push to open a digital marketplace for music. "You'll Never Walk Alone" is a show tune from the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical ''Carousel''. In the second act of the musical, Nettie Fowler, the cousin of the protagonist Julie Jordan, sings "You'll Never Walk Alone" to comfort and encourage Julie when her husband, Billy Bigelow, the male lead, stabs himself with a knife whilst trying to run away after attempting a robbery with his mate Jigger and dies in her arms. The song is reprised in the final scene to encourage a graduation class of which Louise (Billy and Julie's daughter) is a member. The now invisible Billy, who has been granted the chance to return to Earth for one day in order to redeem himself, watches the ceremony and is able to silently motivate Louise and Julie to join in with the song. "Sailing" is a song composed by Gavin Sutherland of the Sutherland Brothers in 1972, best known as a 1975 international hit for Rod Stewart. Sutherland Brothers original recording "Sailing" was written and recorded by the Sutherland Brothers – a duo consisting of Gavin and Iain Sutherland – in a June 1972 session. The brothers provided their own backing with Gavin on bass drum and Iain on harmonium. They intended the song to have a "Celtic feel to it", and overdubbed their vocals. "Amapola" is a 1920 song by Spanish American composer José María Lacalle García (later Joseph Lacalle), who also wrote the original lyrics in Spanish. Alternative Spanish lyrics were written by Argentine lyricist Luis Roldán in 1924. French lyrics were written by Louis Sauvat and Robert Champfleury.
