''Como Te Extraño'' () is the second studio album by American Tejano music singer Pete Astudillo. It was released on November 21, 1995 through EMI Latin. The album was produced by A. B. Quintanilla, who played alongside Astudillo as part of Selena y Los Dinos, a band fronted by Selena. ''Como Te Extraño'' was a commercial success peaking at number six on the US Billboard (magazine), ''Billboard'' Top Latin Albums chart and number two on the US ''Billboard'' Regional Mexican Albums chart. The title track, "Como Te Extraño", was a homage (arts), tribute song for Astudillo's mother and Selena (who was Murder of Selena, shot and killed eight months prior to the release of the album). The title track peaked atop the US ''Billboard'' Regional Mexican Songs chart, while the album's second single "Si No Fui Yo" peaked at number 38 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Songs chart. The ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Songs (formerly Hot Latin Tracks and Hot Latin 50) is a record chart in the United States for Latin songs, published weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. Since October 2012, chart rankings are based on digital sales, radio airplay, and online streaming, and only predominantly Spanish language songs are allowed to rank. The chart was established by the magazine on September 6, 1986, and was originally based on airplay on Latin music radio stations. Songs on the chart were not necessarily in Spanish language, since a few songs in English and Portuguese language have also charted. The first number one song of the Hot Latin Songs chart was "La Guirnalda" by Rocío Dúrcal on September 6, 1986. Latin American Music In The United States
Latin American music in the United States has long influenced popular music. Within the industry, "Latin music" influenced jazz, rhythm and blues, and country music, even giving rise to unique US styles of music including salsa, New Mexico, Tejano, and Western. Piero Cassano
Piero Cassano (born 13 September 1948) is an Italian keyboardist, singer and composer, a founding member of the Genoan band Matia Bazar. Early career and Jet Cassano started playing the piano at a young age. In 1971 he founded the progressive rock band JET with fellow musicians Aldo Stellita and Carlo Marrale. The band released an album, ''Fede, speranza, carità'' and unsuccessfully participated to the Sanremo Music Festival 1973 with the song ''Anika na-o''.
