Andert-et-Condon () is a commune in the department of Ain in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of eastern France. Geography Located 6 km north-west of Belley (a sub-prefecture of Ain) and 40 km south-west of Amberieu-en-Bugey, Andert-et-Condon is a commune of 694 hectares. It is watered by the Furans. In addition to the village, the commune has several hamlets: Gevrin, Andert, and les Barraques et Bognens. The commune can be accessed by the D83 road from Contrevoz in the north-west which passes through the village continuing east to join the D1504 from Chazey-Bons to Belley. The D32 also passes through Contrevoz then passes through the south of the commune to Belley. the D32A comes from the north and through the village linking with the D32 in the south of the commune. Ambutrix () is a commune in the Ain department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of eastern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Butrians'' or ''Butrianes''. Geography Ambutrix is located some 2 km south-west of Amberieu-en-Bugey and some 40 km north-east of Lyon. It can be accessed by road D1075 from Saint-Denis-en-Bugey in the north which runs south through the heart of the commune and continues past Charveyron. There is also road D408 coming from the west, crossing the D1075 and continuing to the village then south to Vaux-en-Bugey. There are a number of small country roads in the commune. The commune consists mostly of farmland with forest to the west and particularly in the east. A railway runs through the commune from Saint-Denis-en-Bugey to Lagnieu in the south. Ambronay () is a Communes of France, commune in the Ain Departments of France, department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regions of France, region of eastern France. Geography The commune of Ambronay is at the centre of a semicircle of mountains at the foot of the westernmost foothills of the Jura Mountains and is bordered in the west by the river Ain (river), Ain. Ambronay is located some 50 km west of Annecy and some 50 km north-east of Lyon. The A42 autoroute (E611) traverses the western part of the commune from north to south with an exit to the D12 near the hamlet of Genoud. Ambléon
Ambléon () is a commune in the Ain department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of eastern France. Geography The village of Ambléon is located ten kilometres west of Belley and 60 km east of Lyon in a wetland (lakes, swamps, bogs) in the Bas-Bugey mountain range, 400 metres above sea level. The site is dominated by the Tentanet mountain (1019 m) on the slopes of which is the Lac d'Ambléon of glacial origin whose ecological interest is recognised. Access to the commune is by road D24 which branches from the D10 south of the commune (north of Premeyzel) and passes through the commune to the village then continues north to join the D41 just north of the commune. The D41 road comes from Saint-Germain-les-Paroisses in the north through the commune then passes near Lac d'Ambléon before continuing over the mountains west to join the D79 road near Lhuis. Ambérieux-en-Dombes (, literally ''Ambérieux in Dombes'') is a commune in the department of Ain in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of eastern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Ambarrois'' or ''Ambarroises'' Geography As its name suggests, ''Ambérieux-en-Dombes'' is a part of the Dombes country in Ain. It is located some 10 km east of Villefranche-sur-Saone and 35 km north of Lyon. There are several access roads to the commune: the D904 comes from Savigneux in the west through the heart of the commune and the town and continues east to Lapeyrouse; the D66 road from Saint-Trivier-sur-Moignans in the north passes through the town and continues south to Saint-Jean-de-Thurigneux; the D660 comes from Rancé in the south-west to the town; and the D82 comes from Monthieux in the south-east and continues to Chatillon-sur-Chalaronne in the north-east. Ambérieu-en-Bugey (; frp, Ambèriô) is a commune in the department of Ain, region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France. It is the largest town in the arrondissement of Belley and the capital of the Canton of Ambérieu-en-Bugey which consists of 8 communes with a total of 21,226 inhabitants in 2007 with 17,466 inhabitants in its own urban area in 2010. It is also the capital of the historic region of Bugey. Its inhabitants are known as ''Ambarrois'' or ''Ambarroises''. The town was called ''Ambérieu'' until 31 March 1955 when it became ''Ambérieu-en-Bugey''. L'Abergement-Clémenciat (; frp, L’Abèrgement-Cllèmenciê) is a commune in the department of Ain and the region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in eastern Metropolitan France. The commune was established in 1857 by combining the two parishes of Abergement and Clémenciat. Geography L'Abergement-Clémenciat lies on the border between Bresse and Dombes at an altitude of 206 to 272 meters. The commune sits on an area of 1,596 hectares.
