The Communauté de communes du Ternois is a ''communauté de communes'', an intercommunal structure, in the Pas-de-Calais and Somme departments, in the Hauts-de-France region, northern France. It was created in January 2017 by the merger of the former communautés de communes L'Auxillois, Région de Frévent, Le Pernois and Vertes Collines du Saint-Polois.Arrêté préfectoral

Auxi-le-Château
Auxi-le-Château (; pcd, Aussi-ch’Catiau) is a Communes of France, commune in the Pas-de-Calais Departments of France, department in northern France. Geography A farming town located 28 miles (45 km) west south west of Arras at the junction of the D938, D933 and D941 roads. The Authie (river), Authie river flows through the town, which once divided the commune into two parts, one in the Pas-de-Calais and the other in the Somme (department), Somme department. It is so named because it was a border fort, but there is now no sign of a castle, apart from some ruins at the top of the Chemin de la Belle Inutile. Boffles () is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region in northern France. Geography Boffles is a small village located 25 miles (41 km) west of Arras on the D116 road. The market town of Auxi-le-Château lies 4 miles to the west and Frevent, 6 miles to the east. Auxi-le-Château has a weekly market, banks, supermarkets and a selection of shops. There are also several restaurants and bars serving local French cuisine. The village is situated near a number of sights of the Pas-de-Calais and the Somme region, including a number of museums and battlefield sites relating to both first and second world wars.
